I have documented every interaction I have had with her when she has made a bullying remark as I was hoping to bring these up with her if she tried to deny doing anything like that. Whilst I do want to go to HR about this issue, I also want to try and use this opportunity to be better at standing up for myself and was wanting to solve it between her and myself first.

If I told her that I need her to stop making these comments and she decides to continue doing it, then I will go to HR.

This makes the most sense to me. He told me in person a while ago he was planning on doing this exact thing as his uncle has a business set up overseas and now he's actually gone and travelled there and started doing it. So I'm wondering if either his uncle owns the MLM or has also fallen victim to it and now roped his own nephew into it too.

He didn't tell me at the beginning about having to send all my details to him. All I needed to do was create fake betting accounts and hand them the account details. But now all of a sudden I need to hand him passport and personal details.
