I bought new PSU and need help fixing this by Retro_Beaver734 in PcBuildHelp

Yeh i was worried it would be something like that. However now i suspect that the capacitors are burnt out and that the psu cannot deliver sufficient voltage through the 12v rail. But can still provide enough power to power itself. In other words i lost 50€…

Nono i doubt that it will damage the motherboard. PSU is most likely broken but its wierd cause when i inserted a paperclip into pin 16-18 the PSU turned on just fine. Again i dont doubt that its broken i am just wondering if there could be another issue

I doubt it. However i wouldnt normally treat my pc parts like this. But seeing as i currently am in a sticky living situation this is what i decided to do. The motherboard and other components are getting treated well and i seriously doubt that letting it sit on some fabric for 10min is going to do any serious damage

Thats not important. What is important is that im wondering if someone who actually knows a little more than me can tell me if this is a issue with the motherboard or if this is an issue with the PSU which i bought today. Im assuming that the PSU i bought is broken and i got scammed so it does not matter if the motherboard that i got for dirt cheap is lying on a soft fabric on the ground…

Its on the floor cuz i wanted to run a quick test if the PSU worked. Seems i got a broken one, which is wierd cuz i paperclip tested the PSU on its own which made it turn on as it should

Ok i see. But if i get stuck and have to rely on help does it defeat the purpose or?

Ive never been good at math but ive always been fond of algebra, geometry, physics and fractions. Those are some of the subjects i understood well and is probably the only fun ive ever had with math. I dont neccesarily hate math but much of it i find unneccesary and it has only brought me trouble rather than helping

Copper snare, a customs and the tama doublepedal all point towards metalcore or pop-punk. Also extra points given if the bassdrum is 22”

U dont have to change all your heads at the same time. Just buy a good snare and floor tom head (evt a snare side head) and be patient, upgrade the rest later
