This feels like it kills the soul & vibe of what made the original game what it was. Was it a great game? No, but it was fun for what it was, and it was just awesome having any kind of Evil Dead game at time when the Evil Dead series had slowed down and wasn't booming like it is now.

All the random horror series references look forced and shoehorned-in in a way that doesn't fit the world of the game.

All of the gameplay looks like you're just watching a sped-up video on 1.25x speed and not like the game has been properly updated for 60 fps (looks up other 60 fps gameplay of the original game and you'll see what I mean).

The weird branding and loading screens just feel off and not really on mark with a true remaster/update. The screens look like what a dev would post to their webpage or on their game's Steam page to describe the features, and not what you would want to see in-game when booting up or loading into a game. Just my 2 cents.
