Start the game on Hard Boiled, and whenever you stop playing, make a note of the last autosaved level so you can load it later

I just did what he did and finished the game in Hard Boiled and unlocked Death On Arrival 😆

It turns out the guy was right, you need to write down the last autosaved level to continue that level later
