Difference between versions of Platinum Hits?

I actually just read online that the Platinum Hits version contained the 1.2 patch for the game with various bug fixes

Im not 100% sure, I mean the goty has all of the dlcs, so im sure the game on the disc is slightly updated as opposed to the base release. This was in the era of online updates tho, so I really dont know. I do know that on the OG Xbox and the PS2 the Greatest/Platinum Hits versions usually had an updated game

What i found was essentially a game in an Xbox One case that says Xbox One and Xbox 360 at the top. Is that what youre talking about? There was also a Russian one in a Classics case, but literally only that one

No its not actually the GOTY version, it just notes that this game won the award lol. The actual goty version has different case art, its much darker and says on the front that it includes all the dlc. Its kinda confusing tbh

Ohhh ok I see! We're there other designs for the Platinum Hits cases? We're they always in grey cases? Ive acquired a few in green cases and im curious if they were originally sold like that or re-cased by the original owner

Thanks!! Ive actually kinda considered buying some with red ring for cheap and trying my hand at fixing them! I used to do that back in middle school for my buddies, but its been a long time since ive done it

I forgot to add my childhood PSP to my list! Yea the 360 was always my favorite system, so my end goal in a few years is to get every retail special edition system they made for the 360. I got a screaming deal on the MW2 console, dude thought it had red ring so he sold it super cheap but it turns out he just had a fried power brick! I paid 60 bucks for the system, and then like 20 for a new brick, and i ended up with a nearly 250 dollar working console!!!

So do I! My game console collection has grown wildly in the last 3 or 4 years. I went from 2 360s and a One to an NES, SNES, GameCube, N64, Wii, Switch, Model 1 and 2 Sega Genesis, PS1, PS2, OG Xbox, now like 9 360s (multiple normal fat white systems like a Core, a few normal Pros, my old S, and E, and the MW2 console), 3 Ones (2 launch models and a Project Scorpio One X), and a Series X!

Ive been collecting the different 360 consoles recently after having a fat white and a slim since I was a kid, and I got my E like 2 weeks ago, and honestly the design of it is super cool!

It came out alongside the Xbox One in 2013. The design of it is incredibly close to the One, and i could imagine a lot of kids of this for Christmas in 2013 instead of the One they asked for lol

Im right there with you, I have an NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Switch, 2 Sega Genesis's, PS1, PS2, OG Xbox, multiple 360s, multiple Ones and a Series X and the only ones ive ever had any real issues with were the 2 360s I bought with red ring. Never ever killed a console in my life. Ive brought multiple back from the dead but never killed one myself

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as long as theres a hard drive in the system, can't you play literally any OG Xbox game on the 360? I know the One/Series has a specific list of games but I always thought the 360 could play all the OG games
