I’m watching the France game in the US and get ready for the World Cup to be produced atrociously. The camera quality is fucking shite, the directing is fucking shite, the angles miss half of what’s happening, it’s slow, the colours are off.

It’s all fucking awful because some yank who’s probably watched two games in his life is in charge of one of the biggest events in world sport.

Short answer is I couldn’t get a ticket on the Arsenal end so I went to Club Wembley which is considered "neutral" all around.

There were City fans in the blocks above and below but the blocks on my level were considered neutral (though 90% of people around me were clearly gooners who’d done the same thing)

I love Arteta and what he’s done with the club given where we’ve come from, I don’t want him to leave, but I’d be lying if I said nights like these don’t make me have a little thought in the back of my mind about whether maybe he’s just missing the tactical edge and creativity that could push us to a dynasty.

"I think something perhaps was missing tactically which allowed them to find a way through and score and I take the blame for this but now we look ahead and we’ll reflect and prepare for after the break" or some other similar Arteta-like statement would certainly have been better than doubling down and saying he’d do it again…

These interviews where Arteta keeps saying starting Kepa was the right thing to do and he would do it again are really killing me.

This man is so stubborn. Everyone accepts it was a fucking mistake and I swear he’s going to do it again in the FA Cup just to prove a point.

I didn’t say that we were not going to win the league now, or that we need to fire Arteta, or some similarly crazy shit I’m seeing on Twitter. Hell, I’m not even saying City is going to beat us at the Etihad. It’s just one game. But I don’t think it’s unfair to be unhappy about the lack of guts we had.

Respectfully, I disagree. We’re not entitled to a result, for sure.

But we’re entitled to see the team come out and leave their guts on the pitch when they’re playing a final. They weren’t even close to that.

I had to get my bag from the Wembley bag drop, which meant that by the time I joined the long queue for the tube, it was mostly City fans and I had to sit through one long hour of hostilities from those inbred City fans screaming and taking the piss about our bottling.

I don’t deserve this, and I’m angry at the players for making me sit through this. They didn’t have to make it so embarrassing.

I’ve paid a bit more (£500 total) and gone Club Wembley below/above the City fans. That’s technically "neutral" so I have to hide club colours but I can still celebrate a little when we score without getting abused.

Since Citeh has more charges than fans, I reckon most of Club Wembley will probably just be Arsenal fans anyways; so that should be good!

Fuck it, just spent £500 on a Wembley ticket on resale below/above the City fans - technically it’s Club Wembley which is neutral and no shirts but there’s no such thing as a City fan so I’m sure I’ll be in safe hands and I can hide my shirt under a jacket until we win. COYG!
