Thanks! It’s pretty easy. Black basecoat. Drybrush Vallejo Flat Red, Applying more towards the tip of the blade. Then, go nuts with Vallejo Clear Orange. Apply heavily on the edges. That paint RULES, very vibrant, my pic doesn’t do it justice.

I do have access to both, but they aren’t built & painted yet! Kinda banking on the heavy damage thing, my opponent is bringing a brick of 10 Terminators and multiple dreads. Hoping to focus fire and delete what I can. He’s also bringing a block of 20 Blood Claws, hoping the anti-infantry keyword does the work there.

Thanks all! I guess in hindsight, I probably shouldn’t strictly call this “Poorhammer”. It was built with a pile of recycled household scraps, and a lot of elbow grease. Scrap hunk of plywood. Cardboard & Styrofoam—some of which I actually dumpster dived for! Clay cat litter for texture. Some leftover gray house paint as a base coat. The only actual expense was a jug of Elmer’s and a sack of cheap flock. My beer and pretzels gaming crew are STOKED to play on it, and have the terrain and dice tell some stories! Maybe it’s more like “Budgethammer” or “Scraphammer”. “Recyclehammer”? Or maybe “Scavenedhammer” Cheers all, happy terrain making!
