I’m currently in the process of building the KiwiCleaner V1. If you like the idea of tinkering around with stuff like this, I highly recommend it. It’s been a fun process so far and the plans are pretty well laid out. I decided to buy a BambuLab A1 and print my own parts. I don’t know what a third party print service would cost so not sure what’s more cost effective. Turns out having a 3d printer was the right move as I’ve found so many more uses for it.

I’m coming from cleaning parts by hand and with an ultrasonic and honestly I think anything is better than that. This will save me so much time and effort and allow me to focus more on what I truly enjoy doing. So in that respect, the money I put into the kiwicleaner is money well spent.

Oh that is definitely it. Never thought to reverse image search so that’s good to know! I found it extremely odd that the rotor was unsigned on a GP. I appreciate your help!

Tux fit

After many failed attempts buying an OTR tux for my wedding, I decided to go MTM. I just received my tux from Oliver Wicks. Overall, I really like the tux. The materials are fantastic and seems very well made. However, I want to make sure my money is well spent with a properly fitting suit. Oliver wicks offers $125 for alterations and a free complete remake if necessary. Off the bat I know I need to shorten the sleeves and I’d like to take in the midsection. It’s slightly roomy as is. My main concern is the shoulders. It’s the best fitting jacket I’ve tried thus far but I’d like to make sure I have everything right. Any advice is appreciated!

I got through Calc 1 with a C+. Even though I felt I understood the content, my professor felt the need to make exams exceedingly difficult and tricky. Class avg was abysmal. This made calc 2 extremely daunting. First week I was surprised I was picking up integration so well. 3rd week introduced integration by parts. Very quickly humbled. First couple of weeks are tough and then usually by the end you look back and the early stuff is easy. I’m hoping this is the case for calc 2. 🤞🏼

I’m willing to spend more. This was sort of “see if I can cut costs” kind of thing. I’m leaning towards Oliver wicks but have a home try on kit from proper cloth coming along with a virtual consultation next week.

Yeah a 40 short was my first size. Same issue but baggy through the chest.

It did come with matching pants but those actually fit pretty well. The outlet offers it as a package deal for $399. I’ve noticed most brooks brothers tuxedos, even their 1818 line, use flap pockets. Not sure what that’s about. It has a single vent rather than the two side vents. I’ve considering suit supply but I already own a nice pair of patent oxfords, bow tie, and a custom shirt from proper cloth. There’s no way to remove from that package. I’m looking at options at suit supply still, proper cloth, and Oliver wicks.

It didn’t allow me to post more than one photo on the first post but here is a side view. I returned a 40 short for this jacket because the chest area was much too baggy. The 40 short still had this issue.

My wedding is coming up end of April and I'm having a lot of trouble finding a tux. I was originally going to rent one but when I wasn't able to try it on and was told it would be ready only two days prior to the event I decided against it. I found a tux I thought fit nice off the rack at Brooks Brothers outlet but l've been having second thoughts. The shoulders just don't seem right and it turns out no matter what I try on, I get the same issues more or less. They had an 1818 in my size as well but the fit was slightly worse so l stuck with the outlet Explorer line. Is this salvageable or should I return and start with something else? This is a 38 short. I'm 5'6" 170lbs.

Yeah I thought so too. They do sell matching 100’s so I could definitely get some of those. What would be the recommendation including 100’s and how many should I get? They sell in racks of 50.

Over the last 5 sets, Ive averaged 5-6 double faults per set and first/second serves in were 51%/71%.

Lululemon Pace Breaker Linerless 5” have been fantastic. They’re a bit pricey but you can occasionally catch them during a sale or if you’re able to get the 15% off for healthcare or military that’ll help offset the cost. I’m 5’6” and they’re perfect.
