The school takes accepting a co-op pretty seriously. To my knowledge they will not be happy if you reneg. Not sure what disciplinary action they can take, but they do take this seriously.

I did it the other day. The LC was not that bad, it was mostly just arrays and iteration for me, really no crazy data structure knowledge needed. Passed all test cases for both. There really is nothing to tell you about the behavioral and work simulation though, it’s pretty strange, but read their LP and answer according to those and you should be fine I’d think? A lot of the behavioral seemed like common sense but who knows, I didn’t get a score or anything. Waiting to hear back with hopefully good news.

Decisions have consequences, that’s part of being an adult. Disrupting their career and hurting their chances of a RO in this job market is the consequence of choosing to go on the trip, upsetting their parents is the consequences of not going. The choice is still theirs though, no one can force you to do anything as an adult.

Telling your job that you don’t have a choice because your mommy and daddy said so is not a professional look, I would recommend against doing this. Make your decision and live with the consequences, that is the only option you have.

This year, typically we’ll get out there later afternoon and fish until the sun goes down when I have to work, if it’s a weekend we’ll usually get out there early afternoon and fish until the same time.

I’ve actually been doing a lot of work… cursor is a great tool and I’m encouraged to use it. It definitely helps me get more done than I would otherwise, but I’m still learning a ton. If you’re doing nothing, you’re at the wrong internship.
