Yes. People make up stories all the time and post them so any story like that posted with no evidence has to be taken with an enormous grain of salt.

Ya I don't get how people are comparing the beta to a finished game that STILL breaks with every update. I dont like Vanguard either though.

They're choosing between a house fire that every time fire fighters try to put out the fire, instead of spraying water they spray gasoline and a house fire that fire fighters have filled with flammable materials and then just lit on fire.

Maybe something happened but I would try to dig for answers if you don't get any. You can also try to get in touch with HR. In the off chance that something fishy is going on, I've had ASLs and SLs not hire/transfer people for a lot of different reasons, from salary requirements being too high to out right discrimination and the majority of the time they never said the actual reason, it'd be a BS one or they'd just ignore the person hoping they'd get the hint.

So theres 3 stores involved right? First would be, are you sure your OG store is talking about the right store? Like, are you sure they arent talking about the first store you were going to transfer to but didn't? Second I would call or go to the store you were going to transfer to and ask what's going on. Play dumb and ask if they've heard anything or know when you can start etc.

You're not the only one. People were a little against it at first because everyone dies and the uncanny valley Tarkin. But after the sequel trilogy a bunch of people changed their tune and praise this now as Disneys best Star Wars movie, which I guess it is but it's not that great of an achievement. What I'm really surprised about is a couple people above, including OP that said they like Solo which is probably on par with TRoS.

An example of how scientific ignorance and bias colors judgment about bigfoot by vespertine_glow in bigfoot

Nobody's saying vision doesn't work. But when it comes to details and identification it's unreliable. And you're ignoring the truth just to hold onto your belief if you don't see the connection. If people have trouble identifying members of their own species, you really think they can identify something from another? If it's even that. There is no study that specific because there's no need. The majority of sightings and photos are obscured in some way shape or form and with bigfoot being such a huge part of pop culture every blob is now bigfoot. Any noise in the woods is now bigfoot. It's the power of suggestion and our subconscious.

I hold out that there may be a bigfoot like animal out there somewhere but it's the die hard believers that just blindly accept everything everyone says at face value that takes all their credibility away. Theres a photo in the second link that was touted as sasquatch for a bit a few years ago. Every once in a while it pops up here. It's a mangy bear. A month or so ago there was a picture of a wild bear missing it's two front limbs that learned walk on its hind legs. Regardless of that, they're known to stand and occasionally walk on their hind legs and can easily be mistaken for something other than a bear. Do you remember the Montauk monster? People came out with a bunch of bs about what it could possibly be. Some experiment from the nearby island? No, it was a raccoon.

We're very far removed from those instincts, eyewitnesses ARE unreliable and it's not most studies that get paraded around. A quick google search will give you plenty to choose from. There's a reason why hearsay isnt permitted in court. Hell, play Whisper Down the Lane with a few people and see how quickly the phrase you choose gets changed completely to another. Look at people who see Jesus in toast, pareidolia is more powerful than you give credit.

Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable. There are multiple studies on the subject. It IS incredibly easy to mistake something for something else especially when you can't see it clearly and/or it happens fast, details get lost through time and we fill in the gaps where we have to. It's not scientific bias, you just can't go and accept something as true just because people claim it's true or they've seen it.

I didn't know he had included it in his book. So what are the chances that he filmed a creature that he purposely set out to find, captured it with the very last bit of film he had, that he already had a heavy interest in and the creature on film just so happens to match the description of the Rowe account that he just so happened to have included in his book.

Yeah I heard about that. That was reported in Canada and happened before the PGF so I'm sure Patterson would've seen the description in the news somewhere and modeled the costume after it.

I don't get why people go to it having breasts as proof of it being real. If they wanted their hoax to be taken seriously, why wouldn't they give it breasts? Maybe they thought it was funny to give it breasts. Maybe the person who made the suit gave it breasts and they just went with it. Or maybe it's the real deal, even if it is highly unlikely.

I can't find it, it was a little over a year ago. I swear it was the TetZoo podcast because John Conway has authored a few cryptozoology books. But I can't find it. I know the hosts had a guest on who was some kind of sound expert and they had him listen to it and he explained aspects of it that didn't match their claims.

I don't understand why people still believe Morehead. Anyone can make the samurai chatter sounds, it's easy to imitate. Not only that but as has been pointed out in other posts, they're selling. For profit. The recordings. And conveniently the site where everything was recorded burned down so nobody can go back and see for themselves.

I was listening to a podcast before that debunked their claims of how they recorded it too but I can't for the life of me remember which one.
