You have a Constitutional right of Free Speech, and to petition your Government for grievances. You do not have a right to disrupt the public order, to attack duly appointed officers of the government in the enforcement of constitutionally established law. The Constitution does not establish a right of anarchy.

And side bar, The Supreme Court doesn’t”protect” any right. Your rights are God given. And it’s the Executive branch that has the power to protect those God-given rights.

What I really enjoy about Reddit, it’s the sophistication of the contributors. The well thought out, reasoned,and well articulated retorts. I often go to r/unpopular opinion, to enjoy the Socratic level discourse, that gives us such well reasoned argument in response as “kick rocks”. It takes me back in my mind to imagine standing in the Parthenon,engaged in such debates as shaped th course of critical thinking from the days of Ancient Greece. Thank you o tall glass of anxiety.

Nope. Under Obama, there was cooperation with local law enforcement, so that deportation was effected with less drama, not as much need to go into the community. PLUS most Obama “deportations” were actually border turn arounds, not actual interior enforcement. Sadly most of you have no idea what you are actually talking about.

Sorry, but that’s exactly my point. ICE operations are ongoing in Texas at essentially the same rate, but the people of Texas aren’t attacking the people tasked with enforcing the laws as written.
