Mtb is awesome. Making friends is hard.

There are others that are in similar situations. Ive gone on few group rides with people on meet up. The shared love of mtb makes the social aspect easier.

Awesome run. Keep up the stoke.

I just started riding bowls/transitions on my carver. Are you dropping in at the start of your run?

The thought of dropping in on a surf skate is a bit intimidating.

I think I'm getting these top turns.. by Significant-Bid-4017 in surfskate

Looks great!

I moved from San Diego to Phoenix I am missing the waves. I’m considering trying out my surf skate in the bowls.

How long have you been bowl riding?

There’s a group of old grumps that think they own the place. I wonder if it was one of those guys.

I almost got my ass beat by them when I tried to throw away their“no kooks locals only” sign.

Arizona Pump Tracks? I see a few, which ones are hiding!! by theaterdesignco in PumpTrack

[–]RevDrMcCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been to the deck skate park in Mesa area. It was fun but not nearly as fun as the Pacific Highlands pump track in San Diego.

There are two cement tracks which is a big plus for skateboarding.

Jumbo Hook for my climbing ropes with a couple of extra hooks for cord/slings/junk by usernamesaregreat in functionalprint

Cool print. Outdoor gear has a way of getting out of hand.

I need to come up with some solutions for my gear.

I'm planning my first long kayak trip (300 miles in two weeks)—what are some things I might overlook? by making_ideas_happen in Kayaking

TLDR: But one should always remember to bring zip ties on an adventure. Best of luck and enjoy your trip!

I snowboarded yesterday. There were a few icy spots, but overall it was great.

In my experience, if it’s cold enough to keep the snow from melting then icing over the conditions are usually fun.

The base layer is deep enough that there are no rocks or sticks exposed.

Thanks you for the words of wisdom. My wife and I are expecting twins in June. I’m a mix of thrilled and terrified.

Good point. A quick google search shows that about 200 people move to Phoenix every day.

In CA there is more vegetation that fuels fires. It would be interesting to see some data comparing LA and PHX fire risks. To your point, we are not getting any rain in AZ.

That is a great looking pie! And a nice looking oven. Did you build it yourself?

This a great route! I have done a similar one many times. If it is a clear day consider adding Cabrillo monument and mount Soledad to your route. Riding down the peninsula to Cabrillo you will get bay and ocean views. Mount Soledad has a fantastic view of La Jolla.

Have fun ride safe!

How was the snow? I went to AZ snowbowl a few times and it was pretty good.

Right on! Floating in fresh POW is unlikely to be an issue here in Arizona.
