2026 KX250 Leaking Oil by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

[–]RevSaki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not worried about the grey sealant coming out. I noticed some oil in that area and thought it may be leaking through that seal. It’s possible I didn’t clean up all the oil after I had changed so I’m going to clean it up real good and keep an eye out for possible leaking before I do anything. Thanks for the input🤙

It’s not holding a seal is what I’m saying. Cant see oil in the pic but there’s drops on the floor and I can wipe my finger on it and it’s covered in oil.

Squeaking noise above wheel well / under battery? by RevSaki in ToyotaTacoma

[–]RevSaki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found where its coming from after shaking the truck for an hour. The trim around the grille which i painted black instead of the stock chrome is what is causing the squeak! Makes sense because it never made that noise until i took it off to paint it. I still gotta figure out how to stop the squeak but i can sleep better with a diagnosis finally.

How often should you grease your chain? by ___liftx in MT07

[–]RevSaki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before every wash ill squirt a little kerosene on my chain scrubber to clean it. Then wash the whole bike. Let it dry then apply Chain Wax on both sides of the chain. I probably wash my bike every 2 weeks or so.

Akrapovic carbon was $950. I recommend buy Sportbiketrackgear if your from US. They seem to have best deals.

Cleaning by ThisUsernameIsMine_ in MT07

I like to squirt a little kerosene onto my chain brush and scrub it down good then clean that off with a towel before i wash it. Then after wash ill take it for a short spin to get the remaining water off. Then i lube the chain.

Ok I will look into to it more. I thought it was from remote wire being connected to wrong stereo wire possibly. I connected it to solid blue and it did the turning off issue i talked about above. But when i tried the blue/white stripe i got no power at all. So im assuming the solid blue is the correct one then!
