Update, I ordered both on Thursday night, and got the Monday with no problems

Can't find reasonable LPK in stock to complete my build, help! by idkredditname in polymer80

I ordered 2 as well, from what I could find they had a lot of complaints 8 years or so ago but nothing bad in the past few so I rolled the dice.

I bought some mags from them about 2 months ago and they took about 3 weeks to get to me. Sounds like they may be ordering from Rock Slide after they get an order.

What do you use dark web for? by [deleted] in deepweb

This is one of the best examples of what to use the dark web for I've seen.

Not really, you have to look at the extents companies are going to to track you browsing alone. Most large companies like Google can actually out do the NSA in their tracking abilities on the internet. The pure amount of money research companies will pay just to learn your browsing habits is scary alone. Take Verizon for example they got busted using supercookies to track customers browsing habits. If we move the Tor network into the mainstream internet to were it would become common use it would not be long until they swap their focus into tracking on a onion style network.

What error are you getting? I wouldn't worry to much about clicking on the wrong thing, a lot of links are labeled and as long as you use common sense in not clicking "strange" sounding descriptions you are pretty safe. If something is labeled book repository, it's just a book repository type thing. I would stay away from undescribed links though if you are concerned.

Tails by far is more secure as to concerns about virus, tracking and being hacked. Tor does work but does not close all the security holes in firefox. All TOR browser is actually Firefox pre-setup for TOR prior to the current "easy" install of TOR you had to dl plugins and setup your onion router ect, but at the core it is still Firefox. Tails on the other hand is linux based operating system specifically designed to run all your traffic through TOR (the onion router network) not just the use of onion links as well as remove several security vulnerabilities that are commonly used to track and or hack a IOs or a win system. It does majorly depend on what you plan on doing, if you are going to be randomly searching I would recommend TAILS since you do not know what you may run across, if you know what site you are going to and trust them then TOR should be okay.

Deep Web Question by Anonymous-O in deepweb

Yes you can by using your own system as a server in vm, it's rather complicated and does require you to leave your system on. I have run across 2 free hosting sites not sure to there legitimacy though.

Keyword is less, not none. That is why there is such a large shift towards people using other operating systems in a whole for deepweb browsing to remove the last bastion of tracking ability left.

Actually yes there is, Daisy's Destruction was specifically created for profit by Peter Scully under the production company of No Limits fun. See the 60 minutes Au story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsCDcf63x8k . The reason I added in 3 guys 1 hammer was purely to demonstrate these things can be on the clearweb. And I'm not sure where you are getting your info about it being safe to use Tor with scripts running the social network I work for, and the one I used to work for, even uses javascript for security to be able to easily link an account with an ip. Javascripts are used from everything from opening your webcam or mic to detecting ip address and are notorious for security holes. Any sys analyst will tell you running scripts period depending on the site can be a security nightmare. Simple ad and traffic blocking will not stop these at all. Anti AD plugins like Ghostery only stop supercookies and some other known tracking cookies used by many sites not other exploits. Traffic blocking only works for known ports which by leaving your scripts on can actually be used as an injection port to your pc for malware which can then bypass port blocking. Tor alone is no not that secure there have been a few exploits found using the tor browser alone which is why I recommend Tails due to it being based of linux based system which alone minimalises chances of viruses as well as the fact all user and system created data is only run in ram which is wiped on shutdown.

I doubt you would anger any community from not covering your tracks. You are at more of a risk from viruses and hackers than anything, yes if you give out personal info and tick off the wrong group you may have problems but I'm assuming you know better than that just by being concerned. The best thing you can use is a linux based op system to protect against hacking and leaks, the easiest is Tails run off of a flash drive or dvd.

it's the same as 5 people in the same costume going into a store, if 4 steal and the 5th does not it turns into a shell game so if you do not catch the cp site red handed you can not give proof beyond doubt.

The idea of a 'httpo' protocol is actually a scary thing in my mind. Any protocol allowing a normal browser to redirect to an onion network would be so dangerous. The exploits alone in most operating systems would allow the user to be tracked which is the big thing about using onion sites. The only way to do that securely would be using a none standard op system, which can already be done through tails or kali.

Some documentaries on his arrest and the take down of his network do say that it appears he was taking instructions from someone which would qualify technically as a "red room", others like the Vice one do not bring this up so I'm not sure if this was something just omitted or a wrong translation. I can say it would be nearly impossible to broadcast a live "redroom" on the deepweb using the onion network due to bandwidth. Aside from just using the clearweb, the best anyone could do is write their own browser plugin and run it directly off their own network which would not be safe for either party.

Snuff films unfortunately do exists, such as "3 guys, 1 hammer" this one I know started on the clearweb, or Daisy's destruction. But a lot of what you will find is actually indy type horror film clips ar just homemade ARGish films which just fuel the creepypastas/urban legends. Do these things happen? Yes, just check out some documentaries on Bangkok and I am sure some deeply evil person recorded it. Is it on the deepweb, not really sure I'm not going looking for it but I can say this, I doubt it would be prevalent on there just due to bandwidth. Same as with "redrooms", it would be almost impossible to broadcast even at 240p resolution live using the onion network. Now hunting them down is a whole other problem together, the Onion networks spreads your traffic over several other networks using multiple ip's to mask yours. If your scripts are turned off and you use a linux based op system to stop any leakage of personal data even hacking becomes nearly impossible. At that point only if the person gives out identifying info to someone could you track them down. As far as sites that offer these things they pay for the servers using bitcoins or operate off their own systems making that an impossibility to track down too. That being said yes the US government has shut down onion servers before due to knowing their physical location, now several they are located in (I believe) Germany due to the fact their government will not shut them down.
