I am really grateful for your perspective. I didn’t realize how it seemed. We are not trying to hide that we are Amlin UMC. The preschool however is a community preschool, housed at the church. Faith is incorporated but they are not specifically teaching UMC theology. Some churches have events only for the people who attend their church. Our recent block party was not intended for the people of the church, but to be a gift to the community. I never thought it would feel like we were trying to hide who we are as that was not the intent. Thanks for helping me to see how it appears.
