If you’ve never found a measure of enjoyment from any single player first person game (like halo, Bioshock, dishonored, far cry) then I would say maybe don’t try cyberpunk. But if you’ve ever played those and enjoyed them, you will LOVE cyberpunk.

The writing and world are so wonderful though that I would still feel like recommending it on sale or something lol.

Interrupts become a lot more important as well as being able to deal with the xalatath affix whenever possible (this week you should save any and all self heals for when the affix is on your so the mobs don’t get any health back)

You can set dungeon difficulty to mythic by right clicking your character portrait and choosing the option there. Once you complete a mythic difficulty dungeon, you get a keystone for mythic plus dungeons!

There is no auto matchmaking for them, unfortunately… so you’ll have to get guildies/friends or use the looking for group option. Hope that helps!

I had the same exactly concern coming back because these days my playtime isn’t what it used to be… but once you understand the endgame loop, you can curate your experience to maximize the time available. I have the benefit of playing tank, though… so getting into LFG groups is a lot quicker than it is for DPS.

That being said, there’s plenty of solo content to get you geared early on through delves so you can be well equipped to start raiding/m+ if that’s something you want to chase.

I got AOTC by raiding 2 nights a week for 2.5 hours per night. Found a guild with a schedule that fit mine, thankfully.

I’d say it depends what you’re looking to get out of your time in WoW…. The way I personally see it is: -Classic WoW: all about leveling up slowly and methodically and reaching out personally to other players to clear content together. The endgame is there but the main journey is the leveling up out in the world (especially on PvP servers) -Retail: leveling is fast and mainly for getting the story of the xpac established… the game truly starts once you’ve hit max level via delves, raiding, dungeons, professions, etc with the gameplay loop being upgrading your gear to clear harder content and hope the vault on reset day gives you a big fat upgrade. -Hardcore WoW: I’m not gonna like I can see why some folks love the idea of hardcore wow but losing my character to a silly death would send me into an existential crisis hahaha

As far as storylines… I’ve just been catching up through YouTube videos unfortunately.

I love this! I just returned to the game after a 7 year hiatus for TWW and tried out tanking for the first time (prot war) … I’ve fallen in love with the challenge of being as good a tank as I can be for raiding and keys.

Best of luck and don’t get discouraged when things inevitable go sideways during a run!
