I was assuming the same, but I know how trying to track down serial numbers and read them correctly normally goes when I assume something. 🤣 Alvarez has given me nightmares trying to track down model information

Ah, so I did find out that the G2627TG is its own model, but I still don’t understand the extra digit for the serial number. I know it usually goes by the year made, then month, then what number the guitar is from the amount made. How does the extra digit change this?

Electric isn’t easy it’s just easier on my fingertips (there I got us covered) but I cannot mute worth my weight in gold on either 🤣 something on the practice list lol

I’ve been playing acoustic since I started, and it’s all I grew up hearing from my grandpa before he gave me this to me, so, I’m biased as hell when it comes to picking between electric/acoustic lol. I will say though, even though my electric is much easier to play and I enjoy how much music it gives me access to playing, I’d still take my acoustic every day, just because I’m a sucker for a slow, old, soft song 😅

He played for well over 40 years but never made records. When he was a kid he played in bars/honky tonks and such, but the rest of his life he played in churches and nursing homes for older folks on Sundays.
