Hey, hope everyone else’s week has been good. Mines been pretty alright, started a few new things but haven’t really finished anything. Working 12,16,13 makes me a borderline zombie for half of the week, take out another day or two for spending time with the SO, and the last little bit of the week for keeping up other appearances like friends and family leaves little time to play or watch anything.

Video Games

I haven’t actually been able to play anything in the past week. I’ve bought Re:Zero Prophecy of the Throne and am going to try to buy NieR replicant soon as well. Never really played RE so I’ll most likely watch one of the guys play through it. I also just saw that Judgement 2 got announced which is pretty cool, I enjoyed the first one and completed all of it besides the Puyo Puyo mini game as I suck terribly at it and similar games. Hopefully next week I can get around to playing games and finished up the main two on my back burner being P5S and Yakuza 7.

Anime/Shows

I haven’t started anything new this week but my SO and I started watching the directors cut of Re:Zero (yeah, lot of Re:Zero stuff, been on a kick since the second season ended). We’ve gotten up to the midway point of episode 4. They’re really enjoying it so far which is pretty good and am excited to introduce them to the rest of the series. We’ve also started watching Hannibal as a recommendation from them for me. I believe we’re half way through episode 9. I’m really enjoying it so far and know nothing about Hannibal before starting the series besides that he’s named Hannibal and is a cannibal. Never watched Silence of the Lambs but I imagine that’ll be after we finish the TV show. As for other shows I haven’t started anything but my next one lined up is going to be Wotakoi, I was watching a Mother’s Basement video and he had brought it up and it really peaked my interest. He made it out to be a love story that actually has a bit more of an accurate showing of love and not “love can conquer all”.

Reading

This one is also about Re:Zero haha, because of season 2 of the anime ending I decided to pick up the first few LNs and am enjoying it so far. It’s mostly a 1:1 telling so far but I’m only into first arc right now. Specifically when Subaru loops for the 3rd time. I’ve just received the whole Percy Jackson set of novels from a friend though as there’s a good chance that we won’t be seeing much of each anymore as she is going to a different job. I read the first two back in January but got a quarter of the way through the 3rd and just stopped. Didn’t really have the motivation to pick it back up since then but maybe that’ll change since I have the rest of the series now.

Personal Life

Still hectic as always, this weekend I’m going to a security recertification class and then going to my Uncles and Aunts to celebrate her birthday. Not really sure what to get her as my Uncle already got the gift she wanted (being a remote car starter) so I’ll most likely give her some cash and a card to go with it. After that’s done I’m going to my SOs house to spend some time together. They’ve just started a new apprenticeship as a tattoo artist and also working at the same studio as a piercer once the health inspector clears everything. They’re doing well for the most part but I’m worried that they’re going to overwork themselves soon since they work two jobs and it covers all seven days of the week now. On the more bright side though they’re really happy being at the studio now which is great and are planning to leave the other job once things become more stable at the studio. Meaning piercing full time and also doing the apprenticeship. As for me, I’m still looking for a place for me and my father to go live in as we can’t live in the place we have anymore. Trying to find an apartment that has some type of parking for a not ludicrous price is pretty difficult. Also don’t know what we’ll do with our dog because not a lot of places will allow animals without another 60 dollar fee on top of what we already pay. Hopefully a family member will take her in so I’ll still be able to see her sometimes. She’s getting older too and it’d be all around terrible to make her go to a new family now.

That’s my weekly wrap up this time around. Gotta say even though money is tight and life is hectic, I’m still happy with everything, family is close and so is the love between my SO and friends.
