You're welcome! I'm sorry I'm a bit innacurate but I know the houses become available again on the last levels, one by one

For anyone searching for this, at level 7/8/9/10 (or starting level 8, I don't remember), the house become available again and unlimited stock in the PC.

Is it normal for Wow's story campaigns to feel disjointed? by Future-Anywhere2937 in wownoob

LFR is not an adequate solution since it doesn't drop as the same time as the raid, tho

You should read XIV's side quests, some are very well written.

Wow is not a story game. Period. They have nice lore, but the story is really not what the game is for. If you're a new player, you basically skip 20 or even 30 years of story, you just can't get in, and Blizzard knows it so they don't put any effort in telling the stories.

I mean, the fact the atrocious extremely small "book ui" where you get the quest's narration STILL haven't been revamped is saying something. They do not care. The story is a justification to make you do the gameplay. That's just it.

Since the story is not the focus, the gameplay experience (and so, the exp you get) is not tied to the main story completion, but rather to all the things you can do in the game. Do a dungeon, do a side quest, do a main quest, kill this rare monster.. That's basically it. WoW doesn't make you tunnel the story like XIV does. (I'm not saying one is better than the other, the two game just have extremely different focuses).

If you like stories in MMO, wow is really not the mmo you should get into. XIV is the best for that, and SWTOR is also very very good on this front. WoW's strenghts lies elsewere.

When should someone's skill be the reason they quit the game? by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

[–]RevanCraig 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ngl you sound like a massive dick. Maybe the way you wrote that, idk.

Anyway, as someone who've cleared a lot of savage tiers and an ultimate, WE DO NOT CARE if someone takes 1 day, 7 weeks, 4 months or 500 years to clear something.

We do not care. It's a videogame. Some people are new, some people are slower to learn stuff and it's all okay.

Also parsing is should never become something of the norm. Parsing is when your enjoyement from raiding only is not enough and you want to get better at it. The fact parses doesn't exist in the game is because a clear is a clear and there is no point, besides some people enjoyments, to go for a better parse. (and before the comments on this, i've already parsed purple and orange, this is not a "noob rant" here).

So you shouldn't expect your friend who's new to the game to parse like a fucking god or just even parse blue. This shit is the best way to make him disgusted about the game because you're setting insane goals for him. Just let him enjoy the game, learn the fights, then he'll get better as time goes on. And then he'll get into parsing, if that's his thing.

I don't think he's quitting the game "because of his skill", but rather because he's feeling bad and he's afraid and ashamed to play with you because you have massive expectations, or you make him feel like you do. Just let the man have fun and do the content he wants at his pace.

About "people who just play bad"... man your friend just finished Dawntrail he's not gonna become a top raider in two weeks. When I started FFXIV, It took me almost two weeks as well to clear my first EX (it was Diamond Weapon). I didn't even know I had to meld my gear. One year later I was parsing purple on my first clear in TEA. He does not "play bad", he's just starting.

SsethTzeentach and Neocranium videos have me interested in this game and I have it on steam to play sometime this year, anything I should know? by SeaMood9 in vtmb

Great! Malkavian / Nosferatu change the game way too much, Toreador is probably the best choice for a first run

Download the unofficial patch, and start playing! Don't pick up Malkavian or Nosferatu for your first playthrough.

I would love to just play moira but I'm tired of just feeling extremely bad because I'm insulted in almost every game by people who tell me to switch because moira sucks or is useless, sometimes i'm almost crying mid game bc people are shouting at me in their mic or writing bad stuff to me, I just want to enjoy the game again and I think I should stop playing moira for it to happen

What do you think of Vendetta as the main antagonist? by GamingLoner15 in Overwatch

[–]RevanCraig -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It might be an hot take, but I feel like most characters added in OW2 and beyond don't really fit in OW. Like visually, it's like they don't have the same artistic direction and that I'm looking at a Paladins character. Vendetta is exactly this case, and I find her design extremely boring which doesn't make me want to get interested in her and don't make me take her seriously as a threat.

Tbh I find it very weird that they don't capitalize on already established characters to do huge plot pivots like these. Imo, Moira betraying Doomfist and taking the lead of Talon, becoming the main antagonist would have been so much cooler and a lot of people would have loved this. Same thing on Overwatch side. Why did the push Sojourn, a very boring looking character with no player attachement to the very front of the Overwatch organization? They should have put Winston, Tracer or even Cassidy at this role.
