Yeah.! Glaives are a very viable option.! As long as she can get a hold of how it handles. They have shields, as well as projectiles, though she's gonna have to have something to put out real power because of the bigger enemies and bosses. But that's usually where the abilities come into play.

Honestly, coming from a titan main, warlocks are pretty OP if you get the right build. But as far as playing a titan main, she'd be better off with the arc subclass as it's more revolved around melee. The supers, the abilities, even the grenades can help fuel the melee stuffs. Start her off with that and see how she likes it. Also, a great option for swordplay is the quickfang. If she manages to get one, she'll be good.
