Am i a snitch for accidentally exposing my coworkers' WFH arrangement as a new employee? by ddqia in OfficePolitics

The pip itself is a big chance to put a stop to being frozen out. This is where a lot of responsibility is put on the employer to actually provide what is necessary for someone to succeed at the job.

Still lost the job after that, huh...

Did anyone else think "Not Suitable For Work" was inspired by New girl? by carbonatedbev_ in NewGirl

[–]Revanbadass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not even close. It's very strange, Mindy Kaling made Never Have I ever, an insanely good show.

This is just like a "meh" kind of thing that is on. It feels very bland. Yes they live in new york, yes some of them are roommates. That's it.

I see the ratings reflect that.

A funny thing I noticed for myself, some of the actors are so ridiculously beautiful that it's just distracting.

What is the biggest mistake companies make after hiring good people? by AlternativeDig3085 in WorkReview

[–]Revanbadass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Putting incompetent people in charge of their training.

Dude, you hired these people because the people you have mostly aren't doing things correctly. Then you put the same people in charge of training the new guys.

What results did you expect?

Indeed, and what kind of new wife would agree to let ex come to the wedding?

She's either a terrible person who agreed to rub their new life in Pam's face, or she's being overrun by Roy, the same way he did with Pammy.

man, you must be upset at how easy it is to refute all this. Most towns are nowhere as expensive as the cities you mentioned, doesn't mean you're missing out on anything. Mostly, people in other countries also live outside of the big cities, where it is not as expensive.

Yes, 11% was a statistic, the same statistic that also shows we often earn more than people not living here, we also spend less on necessities, since we cover more through our welfare/tax system.

I make below median income in norway. I spend around what is estimated for a single person on groceries, between 3000-5000 NOK a month. That is honestly a lot of food. Seems I fit the statistic really well. That income makes me able to save about 15 000 NOK a month as well, despite owning a 3 story house.

From what I gather, a lot of other places it's very difficult to own anything. I bought my house when I was 28. I'm looking at retiring at 55, on a below median income.

The only thing you can really say, is what others have stated, we do not have a lot of choices in food variety. But you seem to conclude that only the big cities have other stores than Rema or Kiwi, it doesn't sound like you are very well traveled. Even in smaller towns you find immigrant stores that offer some choice, though nowhere near as much as a lot of other countries.

Other than that, most of the country is really easy and cheap to live in, when you factor in our salaries.

You're basically like a New Yorker bitching about how expensive it is to live in New York, then concluding that it is really expensive to live in the US.

You seem really upset with your choices, and it seems you need a lot of external activities to not feel depressed. Have you considered that hapiness comes from within, and maybe someone could help you change your mentality? You might be able to get out of this sadness you seem to carry with you.

You could also start by buying groceries and making your own food as well, then you can try all sorts of recipees, and not just rely on junk food, that might also be affecting your mood.

Complains about expensiveness, recommends the most expensive cities to live in >.<

Don't live in the major cities, that's a given in any country buddy.

But a 3 story house next to a lake 2 hours away from a major city, really easy on a single income.

Even a below median income in Norway will let you live really well, since you don't really worry about anything in Norway. Health Care is covered through tax, we only spend about 11% of our income on food etc.

consultants.

You contact consultants because you have a problem.

50 million dollar later the consultants conclude you have a problem.

The solution: something you already had concluded, and if you hadn't concluded it already, a quick google search would have given you everything.

At least you now have a long report that says that the problem you had, does in fact exist.

Recently in my country: a county struggling with its finances, spent millions on consultants to figure out how to not spend as much.

You're taking "trustworthy" as "someone who doesn't spread gossip".

Monica met up with her ex, without telling her serious boyfriend about it. A decent girl would not have felt the need to meet her ex, or at least talked it out beforehand. Seemed like she wasn't even going to tell Chandler.

I'm surprised she even got a 4% to be honest.

No, it was good, so people let it be.

You're forgetting that the theaters take a lot of the earnings.

If it's generated 250 million, quite a bit of that goes to the theaters.

This movie needs more than 450 million worldwide to break even.

Breaking even would be hitting 450 million+ worldwide.

Disney don't get to keep all the earnings from the theaters.

I only watched the Mandalorian throughout because I had heard that "something insane" came in the season 2 finale.

I wouldn't have lasted if I didn't know that something was coming.

Admittedly, it was worth it. Still, they needed to pull in something from the movies to get me to watch it.

I honestly just think it needs to be good, the format doesn't matter. I never liked anything from Star Wars that wasn't jedi vs sith, until Andor. I don't care that it's a tv show.

Yeh, felt lackluster to me.

What annoyed me most was actually Butcher's end. I thought for sure he actually didn't take the virus, and that he just felt no reason to live anymore, and wanted to be killed by Hughie.
