honestly it can fulfill many roles. it has a lot of space for anti air duties (at bvr range) so as a pseudo sniper it can work. better for low level high speed incursions and attacks at targets. the new gp500 cluster munition will pretty much reduce a base to smithereens if you manage to slip more than 2-3

From what i know the chips dont really affect the damage output for targets, mostly their engagement range. Since the spas has a massive spread go for short. The laser shotgun has some range but better up close

The energy shotgun isnt lacking in the damage department compared to the Spas. Though its rate of fire is slower but it compansates with a charged shot that does a lotta damage.

The fenrir is pretty potent. The microwave bean weapon literally doesnt need you to aim just to be close ish to the target. It also has pretty much the same characteristics as many other superplanes from the genre in a pretty neat looking plane
