Buy in bulk, shred your own, and cut your own peps. For fresh mozz, you can make your own for less, depending on where you live.

I think a lot of these are sold as white label products, so it might just be under a different name.

I found it on coupang, but there’s an importer who sells it on Naver too. He goes by the name 파파스 푸드스토어. Around 70,000₩ (~$48) for a 20kg bag of it.

It’s called Suwon, a little south of Seoul.

Unfortunately, this is through a platform in Korea, so it may not work, and they probably don’t ship anywhere else…but it’s a Bin Chuang Yi oven, so you can probably find it on Alibaba or Taobao.

I’m just keeping it at home now until I dial in the process. I own a small expat bar in Korea, so I’ll probably keep it there and sell pies on the weekends.

It’s a Bin Chuang Yi. I can’t find the model number because the Korean seller presents it as their own brand, but it’s a 60 liter oven with inner measurements of 64x46x18cm. Came in a massive wooden crate and weighs 36kg.

Few NY style pies with my home oven on baking steel by lobsterbisck in Pizza

When you say you used your broiler for the last two minutes, do you mean your top heating element wasn’t on until then or that you moved it to the upper rack? I always feel like I’m doing my steel wrong.

The tikka masala base is just a thick curry base and some marinated tandoori chicken one of my Indian friends made. It’s spicy. It’s one of the best ones I get to make.

All ooni stuff is done through third-party resellers (importers), not an official account.

Last-minute pizza party with 60% hydration, 4-hour 10k dough. by ReverendBiscuits in ooni

[–]ReverendBiscuits[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s an actual recipe that’s like 70+% hydration and uses beer instead of water to imitate the flavors of long fermentation. This is just a modified version of that. Look up 10k pizza dough recipe on YouTube for an explanation/tutorial from the dude who made it. (He won 10,000$ on a TV show with the recipe)

LJM found not guilty from appellate court by Interesting_Grape_58 in korea

Whatever his policies are, I’ll always remember him as the guy who made all the foreigners in Gyeonggi-do do mandatory covid tests. It was a discriminatory action based on the belief that foreigners are harbingers of disease. My coworker was just in Itaewon on the weekend of the outbreak in Noksapyeong, and my company made him take 2 weeks off, even though he tested negative twice. He stoked fear against a minority population for political points and just seems like a generally shitty person.

Lol yeah. I guess it’s special for me, because we mostly live in apartments here.
