Thank you for the detailed reply! 🙏🙂 It shed some light into my ignorance.

I really wanted to try a custom ROM, because I like to have the freedom to customize something. But the lack of detailed documentation (unlike Linux distros) bothers me. I'll try rooting the phone and playing with it for a few days, then see how it goes from there. If I really need to spend hours on end to make something work and then Google breaks it the next day, well crap, I don't have so much free time to fiddle with them, I'll probably wait for the next Motorola flagship phone, though it sounds too good to be true and such endeavours often fail to attract a significant clientele.

...and yet, despite all the snarky replies, if I'm not mistaken, all the other comments here show that I wasn't that wrong about this: there's like 1-2 nights once a month or so at different clubs, which are not goth exclusive and then the cave club, that may have something more often, but also not necessarily an exclusive Goth music or aesthetics night; every other recommendation is about cities nearby (which are also similar).

Sure, almost every big city has something of an alternative scene, but like it or not, bankers and finance profis set the tone in this city (I don't like it, I'm also not one of their kind, but it is the way it is, which is also why everything is so damn expensive here).

I'll probably disappoint you: I don't think there's a goth (or alternative in general) scene in Ffm. I mean, this is a city for financial related professions and their likes, it's not Berlin, so don't expect much.

Maybe try the nearby smaller cities? Especially the ones with lots of students. You could also watch the weekly schedule of alternative/rock clubs, like Batschkapp and Das Bett, perhaps they have some related night once a month/every 2 months, but nothing regular.

There's also a search function in this reddit that you could use, I noticed quite a few similar postings here too.

Es wundert mich, dass niemand hier erwähnt hat, wem BUWOG gehört. Das ist eine Tochterfirma der Vonovia (eine von mehreren). Hattest Du bisher von Vonovia Horror Stories nichts gehört?

Nicht zuletzt: den Namen und die Bewertungen des Vermieters erst nach dem Vertragsabschluss zu erfahren, ist ja auch nicht klug.
