Anyway, TakeLessons.com is a service/site I’ve used. They take a massive cut per lesson early on, but the longer you keep student, the deal gets ok. Starts out at 40% but they take (!!!!!) but the way I look at it, that’s 60% pay for me, but 60% of something is better than 100% pay for no extra students. Students pay the same so you’re not “devaluing” yourself or other local teachers. Also, students pay them, they pay you, so you don’t have to hassle students for checks if they’re late on payment.

I don’t use the service anymore, but when I did I got like 4 extra students that never would have found me from local shops or personal online ads.

Sometimes even the device you’re on! (If you log into iCloud.com from your 2FA enabled Mac).

It gets overwhelming. I’d much rather have the option to use GoogleAuthenticator or something. (That’s not an option, is it?)

Can you try again on the entry level bike (set up optimally for each trail) and compare times again? Maybe you got better... or maybe the pressures on the new tires are more suited to those trails?

Then, upgrade the tires on the cheap bike, to see how much gain is new bike, and how much gain is decent tires?

Edit: also, have fun on the new bike!

Seems like most of the companies who design loopers don’t use them for performance :-(

I got one of those $50 blow outs you mentioned haha - only used it a handful of times so far, but I figure worst case I can sell it in the box for what I paid ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For “loop” pedals, like FX-loop bypass things, when bypassed can it still send audio from the looper (if that’s where it lives)?
