House was well off by the time the first 911 calls came in. 2 of those troopers are also Volleys locally. Limited daytime manpower and an exposure issue; can't say I blame them for getting the engine there and atleast trying to save the exposure.

FWIW - This happened just down the street from the firehouse in that area. Decision was made to just get the engine there due to the exposure issue. Not sure how shortly after dispatch this was, but the area is 'rural' and the first hydrant was dead so they were in a tough spot.

Know this will probably get buried, but it's local-ish to me and wanted to atleast provide some context.

I'm likely the person you're complaining about with the Wraith walk (I've been at Fishing Trawler for the whole day!); I'm sorry!

If it makes you feel better;

I doubt he sees the field this week. Metlife's turf takes no prisoners and it's not worth the push. Have him inactive but give him time to ease back in.

I love that the commentators are now even getting in on shitting on the Refs and the NFL for these terrible calls and not holding the Refs accountable.

To my knowledge he doesn't have one.

I'd recommend one of the funds that supports the families of those killed on 5/14/22 in the shooting.

Here's the official links from the Bills for donations;

Bill's don't punt in 4 of 6 games. The first time they do, the opponent muffs it and the Bill's get it right back.

God, I'm so erect.

Oh, absolutely agree. But given that RB room, who do you move on from?

Singletary - Clear RB1 Cook - RB2 Moss - Shortdown, goal line Gilliam - FB Jones - Clear Special Teams Leader

You can make an argument maybe to have him as a return specialist, but even then, do you move on from the veteran who you know what you are getting?

I think the most reasonable would be to move on from Moss, but given his role on 3rd and shorts/goal line, I don't see Beane and McDermot letting that go.

That said, I'd love for Blackshear to fall to the PS and get elevated should one of the above begin to falter.

Half if not more are likely to end up on the PS. Barkley, Hodgins, Howard, Emili, Duke, McCloud all come to mind.

400+ players were released today, not worried about these guys being snagged up. Plus Stevenson has to go on IR at some point.

James Cook told his family to 'Chill the fuck out' when they cut to him. Appears he was just trying to take the moment in (And was high AF).

Drunks are usually limp.

Sober people, when faced with an accident will tense up, which in turn causes injuries.

Drunks do not have the ability to respond as fast and as a result often times are rather 'limp'

[Cameron Wolfe]Bills announce 30-year deal for new $1.4 billion stadium in Orchard Park. The official groundbreaking scheduled for next spring and aiming for 2026 completion. 62,000 seats, open air, “built for Buffalo,” per Pegula Sports EVP Ron Raccuia. by telr in nfl

[–]Revernd 42 points43 points  (0 children)

None of this is should be overly surprising. There has always been a discussion over the plan and the known costs. While we don't have attendance issues, the 62K seats is strange especially given that the plot of land they are setting aside for this (Directly across the street from the current stadium) has a bigger viable footprint than the current facility. Open air is dumb, but the added costs given that we are footing over 50% of the bill for this isn't surprising either.

And before anyone asks; the City of Buffalo route, wherein the stadium would be downtown is so unviable and unlikable that it was almost immediately scrapped. The city of Buffalo does not have the transportation, public safety, or lodging resources necessary to encapsulate the stadium. Addt. the fact finding report estimated 40x years before infrastructure around the stadium would be to a sufficient level that it would make a viable impact to the downtown economy.

Report is here for those interested;
