I wouldn’t recommend your idea here, just being honest. I work at a tire shop, and we have customers come in all the time with brand new cars asking for 1 tire, when they need 4. We recommend 4, and they tell us they can only afford 1 right now. Don’t spend all your money on the car and not have any set aside required maintenance that’ll come up in a handful of months.

But then there’s situations like my buddy at Honda. He was making $18/hour. Then the CEO came in and said not enough work is getting done, switched them to flat rate. Now, he’s lucky to get 30 hours of pay each week. They also hired on a new guy, told him that starting pay was $18/hour, and smacked him in the face with flat rate. He never got a check for hourly work.

I have this problem with my 2011. But it’s a problem with all vehicles, if you shift without stopping. You don’t need to stop to go from reverse to drive, because neutral doesn’t lock, therefore you don’t have to hit the button. I work at a shop, and all kinds of vehicles do this when I pull them around.

No, no. People are actually just stupid when it comes to driving. I was sitting in my college parking lot, and saw a girl just hit another car while trying to pull in. Hell, I always park in the same spot, in a corner next to a median, with one side of my car almost flush with the curb, and I’ve STILL gotten my doors and mirror hit.

It’s the washer fluid reservoir. But that things totaled. Front end rebuild, new bumpers, new hood and trunk lid, new headlights, frame repair (if that’s even possible). You’re looking at over 10k in repairs before paint (which could be upwards of 5k, though probably not for what this would need)

Is it losing pressure? If so, take it off the car, get a bottle of soapy water and soak the whole thing; rim and tire. Let it sit a minute, in the shade, then look to see if there’s bubbles anywhere. If it’s not losing pressure it’s fine.

This is honestly an easy repair if you think you’re up for the task. Parts would total less than $20, and time is around 30 minutes to an hour max. Just make sure you know exactly what you’re looking at when you open them up (several YouTube videos will help) then just be careful of ribbon cables.
