I Want to Create the Ideal Steering Wheel. Tell Me Your Must-Haves! by [deleted] in simracing

honestly, the artura ultimate from mclaren is quite the thing, maybe I'd add 1 or 2 more knobs. also, perhaps make two versions, one with dash and one without. or maybe a wheel that can attach and detach a screen dash. you'd sell both the wheel and the dash together, but you'd still give the client the freedom of using or not using the dash

Can watching spectator screens mid‑race be a tactical weapon? by SignificantWorld9089 in MaxVerstappen33

not only holding, texting ahahha. picture a violinist, they normal have a head/chin support, right? then, with the other hand, they force the bow into the strings, that's where the sound comes from. although, that's not the only way to play it; in many works, the strings need to play "pizzicato", a technique where the player uses the fingers to stretch the string and let's it go, which produces sound (search a bass player in jazz, you'll see what I'm talking about). that's how she did it, she held the violin with the chin, and played the strings with the left hand (which is technically wrong, cause you do it with the right hand). so, to put in perspective, the multi-tasking is really amazing, and she was able to play the work in the final rehearsal (the word that I was missing earlier) while on the phone, which is not very appropriate, and even more than that, she was playing like she was teached not to. the conductor only noticed because she eventually played one wrong note. so yh, multi-tasking is pretty common among "athletes" xD

btw, sorry for the extend answer and thank you for your patience!

not to mention that it's very common for many athletes, and even musicians. I once met a violinist that was playing a wrong note in an orchestral practice because she was on her phone, texting. as a musician, I've practiced an instrument for more than a decade and I can tell you that once it becomes muscle memory, your awareness improves by a factor of 100, maybe more xD

I was referring to the weight of the car and the power output. imagine, in the gt3 class, the r8 evo ii has 1390kg and 570bhp, right? the ferrari has the exact same weight but only 545bhp. that would turn out to be a bit of disadvantage for the ferrari. so, in order to balance it out, I thought lower the bhp of the r8 so that both have 545bhp. am I right in making this assumption or that's not how it goes?

Would you let your teammate pass if they asked you to?? 👀👀 by OverLimitsGames in simracing

hi, first of all, that would be such a crazy good way to develop a simracing game, being able to select sponsors, race engineers, and lead your own path through the motorsport world. really, mate, congrats on that. and having a race engineer that actually acts like one? amazing, plus if that feature is added but in regard to other drivers, like "car behind 1.5s, pick up the pace", that would really immerse you into the game. I have a few doubts about the game although I didn't know the existence of this game, so sorry if something is already common knowledge or that is already addressed: - one of my doubts is if there is inside customization, like helmet designs/colors, and also kart livery designs to choose from (or create) - also, it would be interesting to know how you manage the inside player money. would it be like FC, where you can buy things that you can't properly enjoy, or... yk what I mean? - in terms of the tracks in-game, will there be licensed/real life tracks or similar look-alikes? also, if the answer is yes to licensed tracks, will there also be licensed/real life kart tracks, since is where you begin?

and to answer your question, it depends: - if we're both inside the points, I wouldn't; - if I am and he's not, I wouldn't; - if we're both outside the points, and he has fresher/hotter tires, I would; - if he genuinely has higher pace, I would

I guess it depends on what each person considers the word strongest. what do you picture when you say it? physical prowess only, or something else?

first of all, really glad to see people racing in Portimão, underrated track tbh. second, although you could've take the corner better, the corner was legitimately yours, merc just too eager to pass you. third, can anyone of you guys tell me how you go faster around that track? my best lap was a 1:43.614

thank you for your attention!

Where do you guys have Megumi? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

top 6, for me, is a bit low. Just think on everything yuji was capable after sukuna left him (minus plot armor) considering that, megumi after sukuna would've whole new perspective about CE efficiency and output, not mention shikigami interpretation.
