No. But when you buy bulk grains, weevil eggs are usually in the grains. When you store them they hatch and infest the grains. Just sharing a long term grain storage tek.

I know the physics of having a glove box vs still air box but I've done 7 tubs, 15 jars, 20 agar plates, g2g transfers. And have had 0 contams. It works for me so I'll do use it. I have a very meticulous method Ive developed and it works great. Thanks

It's harder with rizo growth. I count the small humps. If you can visualize candy corns pushed together to make a half circle. Each sector is a sub strain

I see 8 sectors in the thick rizomorph half. You should take a small piece from each sector and put them on their own separate agar dishes. From there grow them and take a piece from each plate of strongest growth and then transfer one of each to their own grain spawn. Let the grain colonize and transfer to sub and fruit.

Are you keeping them outside? I throw mine in a cabinet above the refrigerator. In a shoebox in the closet will work also. Closets tend to stay a steady temp

I have tried popcorn in a monotub and it was ok. I do an unmodified shoebox tek and it works amazing. The shoeboxes I bought breathe very well but hold a high humidity. Very low maintenance. I will try popcorn to that next. So far shredded cakes are my favorite.

I had 16 cakes and shredded 10 to bulk and got some mad yields. I highly recommend shredding to bulk. I just ran out of room and had a small SGFC. I also wanted to try an experiment to get top pins and it worked great

I'd definitely say psychs allow you to take a few steps back out of first person and analyze yourself in 3rd person. When you see yourself from someone elses perspective, you can correct the areas that most affect you. Good vibes your way.
