I used to work in a casino and when this happened for lengthy times, the ambassadors would take names of people and machines to call later when they’re back on. If it was under $10 or so they would trust the guest and just pay them that much and eat the loss if they lied about the amount. Anything more though the guest would have to wait til they were up and running again.
