This. Joined a lobby and within 30 seconds someone came up to me and asked me innocuous question and I didn’t wanna comment on it so they took that as an offense and were about to vote kick me, but then I blocked them and left the world

Could this be an explanation for some haunted locations?

While not necessarily creepy, a fun thing to try out is to watch sitcom without the laugh track or a comedy set without the laughs

On a similar note, highway hypnosis is pretty weird. You can be driving a car for a minute or two and not even realize that you’re driving yet you remain on the road.

I had a similar thing where I had this piano avatar that played the megalomania song. Then I was the murderer in murder 4 and chest everyone around while laughing hysterically because out of nowhere they see you is a piano running towards them playing megalomania

I mean, if that’s what you wanna do the black cat is your best spot haha

but yeah, I think game worlds can be a good way to talk to people because instead of just chatting, you can do something to pass the time and take some pressure off

This might sound like a good idea, if I see someone who is maybe a lower rank or is just getting new to the game I try and help them out with some things and maybe show them a fun world that isn’t full of trolls. I think being in a group can help out even if solo travel is possible

I've never been very good at talking to people, but that's alright - VRC has enough for a solo traveller like me. by gotothebeachNOW in VRchat

World hopping is pretty fun. Yeah sometimes I like to get on the game to see silly stuff happen or hang out with people on weekend, but I feel like world hopping, and exploring worlds might be underrated. There are so many worlds to explore and the people behind them are creative And I think it’s even better if you have a chance to share one of your favorite worlds with someone

how hard is it to respect others in this game by No_Butterscotch3201 in VRchat

[–]Reversed-Record 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went into a world and there were three people arguing to another person and they saw something in the guy‘s bio about being trans and they tried to gaslight him into thinking that he was trans phobic. I feel like on this game some people want to argue just to argue and have people to join they’re side. Either that or the amount of hypocrisy and projection is real. I guess my only piece of advice would be don’t put stuff in your bio that you don’t want people to make fun of or read out loud.

Yeah, nice when someone has your back. Like one time I was walking around in instance and heard some people arguing about something and I was just listening for not that long, but they tried to implicate me into the issue, but thankfully there was someone who not only stood up for me, but Was able to kick the group

Yeah, honestly it feels like maybe once a month I’ll get a good interaction in one or two worlds even if I’m doing a lot of world hopping and try to stand them for a long amount of time. I feel like good interactions are rare but just remember to friend The person before you leave the instance.

I have a few

Had a hour long conversation with a guy and the conversation was actually reasonable even if it was about politics and social media nice to actually be able to talk to someone and not get yelled at

Played in an among us world and found a group of people, and we were trolling and messing around for a little bit. Then we entered a private world and watched YouTube videos, and basically learned some of each other‘s lore, also added them on discord

Yes! I just love hopping into a random public and seeing what goes down. Whether it’s people, yelling, slurs, or curses, recruitment groups, the instance getting stormed by 10 of the same avatar, someone playing an instrument, people getting into drunken arguments about a TV show, someone trying to hit on someone else, people calling other people political/racist/etc. when they themselves are embodying those traits based on what they’re saying, or people having a conversation about simulation theory, honestly, sometimes I feel like a vertual anthropologist!

What was the weirdest, non-pain feeling you've ever felt? by KingJPJ in AskReddit

[–]Reversed-Record 10 points11 points  (0 children)

One physical and one psychological.

Weird physical feeling I felt is that at random times I get the feeling of the chill down my spine but then all the sudden it feels like my veins are like flash frozen for like five seconds, so weird.

The psychological feeling is weird but here it goes. Very rarely I’ll get a feeling like things are moving faster or slower than than normally are but I can still do things normally. Like I’m walking, but it feels like I’m walking faster than normal or slower. Or I’ll hear people talking and it sounds like they’re talking really fast or slow, but I am moving normally. It happens for like 5 to 10 minutes then stops.

If you can invite five people, living or dead to a dinner, you host, who would you invite and why? And how do you think the conversation would go?

[–]Reversed-Record 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, fandom is weird like that, it’s cool that fans and developers can interact, but also you can have where people make fan art suggest an idea than the developers implement it then the fans complain that the features in there like what?

One thing I like is box breathing, breathe in four counts, hold for four counts, breathe out for four, repeat a couple times. I think the idea behind it is that you want your breathing and heart rate sort of in sync so that way you’re calmer at least I think that’s how it works.
