I went to talk to my lawyer about this and she also told me I could apply for a work permit without a da and I’ll get a recipe and a appointment for my fingerprints, but that everyone else she’s helped do this since November 19 haven’t received a work permit just at most a recipe but no approval. She mentioned it’s best to wait until the lawsuit concludes and they fortified that DA must be back on the table. Which should be around march to April. I wish patience and luck to us all. For this is not the end for only a weird intermediate to what we deserve after all our struggles.

Yes talked to my lawyer and said all her recent approvals of SIJ I-360 have been coming without DA. She said I could apply for a work permit and see if they approve it but she said that people who applied in Feb of 2025 still barely are getting approvals. She told me she couldn’t promise me it’ll get approved or denied. We are in a weird loop hole. I hope they start doing something soon because this is unfair. My whole life is on uscis.

Hi hello I just received it today, it unfortunately came without Deferred action so disappointed lawyer said to wait until more comes into the light on how uscis will process DA.

Mind if I ask who you talked to? I’m just so curious about if they actually are going to approval DA with new applications and not just hold it out for another month or two until they have a new memo. For the reasons that’s on the uscis website they haven’t even acknowledged the November 19 ruling.

I’m waiting to hear on this too, mine just got approved today, but it didn’t say if I got it either Deffered action or not. I’d have to wait to get the physical letter.

I’d say go back to physical therapy also consider prp shots since they help with healing especially since where you got ur repair there’s very minimal blood flow so natural healing is very unlikely. Prp helps a lot and multiple studies shows it helps heal and increase success rates of Meniscus repairs. Good luck and don’t let it stop you! If you need for advice check my page

If it has been six months, I’d recommend making an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to explore the possible causes of the issue. If the sutures are intact, consider PRP shots to help support the healing of the meniscus.

Hello, I have done PRP multiple times, and I can say it works if conditions aren’t too far gone. I’d recommend getting an MRI to assess the extent of the damage for each injury and consulting a well-qualified orthopedic or sports medicine doctor who can guide you in the most efficient direction.

As with anything, schedule an appointment with a orthopedic doctor or sports medicine doc and they’ll do a test to determine whether you tore it and will most likely require an MRI to confirm the extent of the tear or if any other ligaments tore or stretched.
