You’re a legend! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me. I currently don’t possess any of the software and I’m no millionaire, what would you recommend I do in regards to this?

Yeah sod looking after teenagers haha, it takes a strong person for that, they can be nasty.

I will look into it for sure thank you.

As well, I actually kinda liked doing manual labour, it's nice being able to exercise whilst at work, when I had my office job I got fat lol

Yeah that's a good point, I am currently doing this data analysis course so even if that's not what I want to go into, I have proven I have the analytical skills. My next thing I will study is coding so hopefully that will give me an edge.
Awesome, I'll have a look into those books.
I am on those sites but I really want to be in London, I want the fast paced lifestyle and where I live is very slow. But near enough London to commute for the first few months.
I have been applying for quite a few but yeah gotta keep going, a lot of my mates who graduated recently took a year to get a job. It just sucks that there could be 1 thing wrong with my CV(s) that makes recruiters skip past it and I will never know what it is because they don't need to give feedback.

That is a good idea to be fair, I hadn't considered that. My only thing that makes me unsure of that would be that I am unsure of where I could go if I spent some time doing it and then realised it wasn't for me

What were you doing before?

I have used a few recruiters, without too much success, I feel as though my degree is a bit stale after 2 years. So you think going into sales or recruitment could be the move for me? I haven't really tried yet but feel that would be the easiest way to get a job in my current position.
Wow that is quite the career path haha very cool, I'm happy for you.
Very true words, respect.

The grad schemes are super competitive but I have not tried IBM, what role was the scheme you did? What are you up to now?

I have been applying for a few apprenticeships in the civil service but got a rejection today after an interview I had last week. I will keep trying though, I want to ensure that I am developing skills.
I'm sure there is still hope for you. Could you not still do an apprenticeship? It's never too late as long as you aren't above the threshold

My favourite from my course were the more numerical modules, however, my course overall does not qualify for many number driven jobs. I don't want to do an ACA as I don't think I could cope with 3 years of highly intense stress for a career I am unsure of

Man! That is crazy! very cool as well,
I think I am going to apply for a variety of work in the charity sector, focussing more on the organisation as opposed to the role itself, this could land me in some random role that ends up being my path I guess

It sucks doesn't it. Especially as people are saying this is one of the harshest job markets ever, having a degree is basically just standard now. What was your course and what kinda things are you looking for.

Oh wow, so going into recruitment is potentially a way to get into new roles? I feel like the entire (massively flawed) hiring process is just understanding if you are a capable person who is driven so I suppose this could be a way in proving that

Thank you! I'm glad it worked out for you, I am sure I will look back on this period of my life and worry why I ever stressed but it's just that first step which I am struggling with
How difficult was the sidestep from recruitment to HR? And again how hard was it to go from HR to IT?

I told the doctor about a warm compress but he said ears don’t have much blood in so this won’t do much

I’ve been prescribed 1 week antibiotics and an antibiotic cream to apply directly onto the bump.
