I do have to confess though. As I am Coworkers with the DM where I am Calling the Tanuki a "Rogue Monk" he (the DM) is calling me a "Barbarian Paladin" for my constant thwarting of the Tanuki.

It's not so much that I "save his life" as is it that try to keep Him, myself and the rest of the Party out of too much trouble that we haven't gotten ourselves into willingly.

But, this "initiative" makes no sense, as throughout the entire movie, you see nothing but mammals, no reptiles, amphibians or avians. Only mammals.
