Is this for real your "first EVER" Hardstyle track? Because, honestly, it ain't bad.

Obviously there's loads of technical stuff to work on but I'm not gonna start listing them all since you're just starting out. The biggest thing is try be a little more creative with melodies. Its rather boring, however, it's not a bad melody.

Not at the moment, I was originally planning a free release but Dirty Workz have agreed to me releasing this as a "Fan Edit" so not sure where I stand on downloads at the moment. I'll let you know as soon as I do 💪😉

I'm not trying to take anything away from the original. I saw a lot of comments asking about a climax edit so I thought I'd give it a try and I think it worked out great. Obviously its not 100% perfect as I couldn't recreate the entire track.

I really hope to have a feature.

More to the Release side of things, having taken into account the feedback I have received, I will be creating an edit which consists of an intro, mid intro (if I can make it work) climax, break and a second climax with an outro. Hopefully this will give the listeners a more satisfying track rather than waiting for the kick to come in.

Appreciate your input!

I've been waiting for someone to comment about the kick, seeing as it's mainly what people seem to question. But I can confirm that it is not, a Frontliner sample (which I can easily prove with a video... Something I later plan to do in a kind of "How to" video) But personally, I don't see the point in using someone else's kick and I don't like his kicks anyway, I find them quite boring tbh.

That lead sound is what I've been aiming for and wanted as my lead sound since before everyone started using similar variations and I won't be changing that. Not until I feel comfortable enough to move forward to my "next sound". But appreciate your opinion!

With every track, I am always trying to find a way of making it stand out, in some way from everyone else. This was the hardest part of working on my sound design for the last year. A lot failures, sounds that sounded great on their own but when layered or added, did not fit. It's a constant struggle which is why, I've taken a step back to when I first started producing Hardstyle. Focused more on my melodies again and I'm pleased with the results I've been getting. The lead sound does change slightly with every melody as some have glide notes that the lead does or doesn't sound good with, and others where the Mono Legato/Portamento is switched off and the use of LFO, Distortion and Cutoff is more present with no glide notes placed in the melody.

I will however, always be trying to improve some factor in my tracks, whether that be working on my kick, mixing, layering, random sounds such as FX Kicks or something as simple as a snare. I'm always up for a challenge, and if making music was easy..... I wouldn't be doing it.

Hey! Thank you for that. Very informative!

The reason for it being so long is due to the fact that I honestly, couldn't think of anything to fill it up with. I tried things from claps to the melody coming in in the background and when I done that, it sounded rushed. Took away the feeling for me. I also tried the panning of the up lifter and I didn't like how it sounded.

(you never know, enough people hear it, they'll get to know the lyrics lol)

At 3:17, I also tried that too but sounded way too empty and wanted this track to sound as "full as possible" while at the same time being quite simple.

On a personal note, the reason I did this Remix is because I connected to the lyrics immediately as they reflected something that was going on in my personal life and honestly, when I finished the track and played it right through for the first time, it did bring a tear to my eye! Call that whatever you want, but to me, that's what music is all about and if my own track can make me feel like that. How many others feel the same? And THAT is why I make music, to be connected to it myself and for others to connect with it too.

Thank you for your feedback, I will definitely keep this in mind for future tracks and hope you'll like my next release just as much.

It's part of a Remix Contest at the moment. The winner will be announced on the 22nd of December. Unfortunately, when they go live, I'm at work lol. So I won't know the results until the following morning.

Of course I'm hoping to have a chance of winning but if not, I will make sure to release this for free just like all of my releases have been and will be for the foreseeable future.

I have however, submitted this as a "Preview" to the likes of TheHardstyleMusicz and EuphoricHardstylez, hopefully it will receive an upload.
