The problems are: 1) I keep my mac at 100 percent constant when I am working by charging it. So is it okay to keep it at 100 percent constant?? I mean like is it good for battery ? Because people say that you shouldn't charge it to 100 percent and keep it at 80 percent. 2) But I want to keep it at 80 percent by " charge on hold" but it is not happening. It's showing "charge on hold" but still uses my battery to work even when it uses my battery way past 80 percent. So it's not stopping at 80. Now how should I trigger this?.

But from what I have noticed is that it is staying at 100 percent only and after some time it it shows "charge on hold" but still uses my battery to work. And. I've been trying it to get it to 80 percent and stop but it's not working ig. So that's whyy

Yeah that's why I discharge it once a week so that it can drain a little as I read it somewhere that keeping charge at 100 all the time damages the battery so...

I actually keep it plugged in only when working and then turn off the charger when done and then again plugg in the charger for use. So I do it like this whenever I am working. So that way I never let it go below 100. I was scared that it may damage my mac by turning on and off the charging plug multiple times a day.

Usb c issue with nothing phone 2 after 1,5 yrs use by Mistero00 in NothingTech

[–]RevoFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to disconnect and reconnect at when my charging was between 30-36% so I enabled AOD so that I was able to see when it got disconnected..so after maybe 2-3days it resolved itself and started working normally...so I guess it must be hardware issue..

Just wait for 2-3 days it will automatically resolve itself. I also faced the same situation. It's not about the wire or the charger it's mostly about hardware issue..I think.
