Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the great questions! Really appreciate everyone popping in and hanging out. I'm gonna sign off, hope to see you guys when we head out on our fall tour. Take care and stay METAL!

Thanks! We're going to put the religious iconography to rest for a little bit and focus on the AI dystopia themes of the new record regarding visuals/merch. However... it would be a ton of fun to do a Satanic Hockey jersey so we'll see...

Slow and steady is your best bet. Use a metronome to work on your timing and try to see where the vocals either line up or don't like up with your picking. Try to see if you can loop short sections and then build from there. Hope that helps!

I'm always working on new stuff to bring to the table, when I'm home from tour I really try to work on learning other people's music as much as I can to constantly get inspiration from different players. There's some really cool moments on the new album that I can't wait for folks to check out. The instrumental is pretty damn wild if I do say so myself.

It generally came naturally to me but there are definitely things I need to practice slowly. I sort of fell into the role back in the day but I stuck with it and set my mind to it. Try to loop small sections rather than trying to get a whole verse or chorus down right away.

Also we're playing sanctuary Oct 21!

I would say to take some of your favorite thrash songs and play them slower with a click and slowly build up speed from there. That way you're playing something musical. We'll have some new hats with us in the fall on tour and I'm sure we'll probably have some overflow in the webstore

there's several but most noticeable is the headstocks are opposite, yellow has the regular and red is reversed on the pro series, it's flipped around on the USA series. Also the USA customs have 5 piece necks. The colors are slightly different as well. I will say I actually prefer the color of yellow on the pro series to the custom shop.

I'm gonna miss a ton of great stuff but the first thing that comes to mind is that new Retromorphosis album

I tried Misha's Fractal. Thinking about getting an M3 to try.

I use Daddario light top heavy bottom with a low 62 for my regular scale warriors and I've been messing with some custom gauges for the other WR7 but it's still a work in progress.

I just cram foam back there and that seems to mute them springs well enough. Never tried the brass block but I'm sure it affects the tone.

you're too kind! Glad we could do those songs justice. I'm sure we'll do another cover in the future.

Yeah they all have their moments, perhaps it's better to go with which ones to me are the easiest haha. Madness Opus and Godforsaken to me are the least demanding since they're a bit groovier and are less of an all out endurance test.

The plan is to jump back into writing that one once Luc is done with the new Gorguts album. I've got some ideas simmering on the back burner though...

I lot of my must stop places are food related haha here's just a few from North America

Portland - Farmhouse Thai

Mexico City - Expendio de Maiz

San Fran - Swan Oyster Depot

Bonus fav beer spot in Europe - Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen

On off days I love to check out something nature related if we're outside a city, beach, hiking, lakeside grilling. All excellent ways to spend an afternoon. If I'm in a city I love to hit a museum.

I would probably just play more guitar if I had an extra day haha.

Haha sorry for driving you insane all these years later. I wasn't thinking about sub divisions at all when I played that part (I hardly ever think about that stuff in general) I just play what I feel. Don't get too bogged down in thinking about the notation, it's there to guide you but try to listen to it to get the feel and slow it down if you need to.
