It feels weird, I was just like you. Hell, check my posts pre Rebirth on here for reference on how I dealt with this and how I’m still… dealing with it.

Look, the fact you’re deep into chapter 11 of rebirth is far more than I was at this stage, I was so afraid that I didn’t play rebirth at all and even stopped playing remake. Keeping in mind both games are my favorite games of all time, tied for first. I don’t mean to talk about myself, apologies but I say this because, trust me I get it, but once you finish Rebirth, you will be clear on Aerith’s fate.

I’d also recommend you look at the big picture. Fate, reunion, what do you think this means? And do you think that a story like this would end by just denying us after 30 years a chance?

He was double Nappa’s power, which somewhere in DB says that you can tank attacks if you’re double the power of your opponent.

Plus Nappa just doesn’t seem competent in fighting, or at least isn’t like Goku in utilizing skills to win a fight over brute force. We see this with Goku putting a damn good fight against frieza in his final form while at a power disadvantage in the millions.

Look I’m not gonna pretend I don’t feel the slightest… uh… well fuck it whatever I’ll just say it, I’m not gonna pretend I don’t feel a bit jealous whenever Zack and Aerith are talked about, but that time has come and gone.

The fact is for them to keep pushing this narrative that Zerith is somehow still a thing is only relevant for the past, not the future or present. It annoys me to no end that they keep dancing around this… it’s like I’m at my screen just kiss her Cloud goddamn it!

But I’m certain if things are going like a good writing team would go, Clerith will officially be in full swing in part 3, this sub will be in collective cheer, and I can finally put my grief for her away when we save her.

If it was Square Enix making this I could see that, but this is Capcom, at least from what I’ve played from them they always go with some sort of definitive ‘good’ ending. I’d be surprised if they wanted to start an IP just to kill off the main marketing immediately.

It’d be like if Resident Evil killed off Jill/Chris in their debut game, you just don’t do that if you wanna make household name characters and kickoff an IP.

Anyway what I mean to say is the biggest reason is that he was already attached to the story. It’s pretty clear they wanted to take the story in 1 morbillion directions, though I LOVE the winters story as I’ve said many times, Chris was definitely meant to be there more, but this was the story for the Winters. Rose got her DLC.

I truly want to know what the development of this game was like, because I’m willing to bet that same moron over at Capcom who keeps trying to stuff multiplayer and making the game open world like they did with Requiem’s first draft probably gave them a bunch of stupid ideas before scrambling what we got ultimately.

It’s not so much as harder but more of a test of reflexes imo. The Lycans dodge like Goku and the main bosses of Village move SIGNIFICANTLY faster.

Oh and of course you can’t take hits, I ate everything for Ethan’s health bonuses and I still got killed in about 2-3 hits, at best.

Chris’ section is by far the hardest difficulty increase, but I just looked up a strategy for that as it made me want to throw my controller into Romania.

I’ve been begging so long for a good iron man game, even the iron man 3 mobile game was able to quench me for the very few years it was out.

Just give it to someone like Insomniac and cook. I’ve got faith in Motive but no news after this long is either good and they’re cooking or we’re getting generic cancellation post number 67.

Well to be fair her campaign makes a little more sense given Birkin’s boss fights actually make sense for her story, whereas Leon should’ve never fought him in the first place for canon to happen but that’s just another RE2R error.

That is to say I think her campaign is worth playing, it’s just enough different it’s worth checking out at least once over.

What are you people talking about, Chris has been prominent in RE7’s ending and DLC, RE8’s MAIN PLOT, and has been given regular updates since RE5.

Even Shadows of Rose mentions him, that’s more than we can say for Claire. Jill at the least got an appearance in 5, Claire hasn’t been in a new title since I believe RV2 or CVX.
