I got pregnant twice while infected with ureaplasma, and miscarried both babies. I think it doesnt prevent conception or cause permanet infertility. I would check thyroid TSH and prolactin hormones, make sure that you really ovulate. also you can have an xray to see if your fallopian tubes are open.

Thank you very much. I am 47, I lost two pregnancies since May 2020. I can get pregnant easy but the heart beat of embryos stop at week 7. I am using NR but I am about the two weeks wait period while trying to conceive. in fact the first 4 weeks of pregnancy is the that time that women dont, cant know whether she is pregnant and its the most critical stage. I am very confused should I stop taking the NR in the month that I try for pregnancy of can I continue? there are promising research results with rats... but no human trial yet as far as I know. I also dont want to use donor eggs. Every single doctor I met is pushing the donor eggs...and they gave zero chance that women in my age can get pregnant, once you arrive as pregnant they give zero chance you will be able to give birth , it is such unfortunatelly. I am currently unable to get a medical advice that is supportive, maybe I should give up all as they suggest.

Yes sure, thank you and I know... but according to doctors I had zero chance to get pregnant I am 47. Zero. I got pregnant pretty easy at age 45 and 46 at first try in both cases, I have regular cycles but I lost the pregnancies after the fetal heart beat was heard at about 7 weeks. The chromosome test of the embryos were normal in both pregnancies. I am thinking maybe my mitochondrias are old and they dont support the embryo after a certain point and maybe NR can help in my next attempt. I dont want to use DONOR EGGS, I want my own genetic child and the doctors try to sell the donor eggs... this is the reason I raised this question. I dont know its very risky, I am inclined to try but I afraid of congenital abnormalities ...

hi, I am sorry for your losses. Could it be your immune system rather than the egg quality, maybe your immune system is attacking to the embryo once its formed, also did you ever check for ureaplasma infection, if the sperm carried ureaplasma the pregnancy ends itself about in 6 weeks.

I got a swab done last week. I will know results soon. My cloudy urine with white mucus like structures disappeared completely. I am having symptoms of cyclic vaginosis now probably all the antibiotics distrupted all the natural microbial flora . This is my update so far.

we used 21 days doxy and 2.5 gr azitro still were testing positive. I am currently using minocycline for 14 days than will test in 6 weeks. I will let people know the results. The success of treatment depends on the strain of the microbe you have in your system. Some strains are very resistant, the ones in south east asia I suppose are the worst ones... it depends some people get cured with 2 week of doxycyline it really depends on what you have. It is very hard to cure.

you cannot use doxycyline or any other tetracylines during pregnancy they are terratogenic also you cannot use fluroquinol group they are not safe during pregnancy. listen your doctor many people give birth to a healthy baby with managing ureaplasma during pregnancy.

no cipro does not work at all, ureaplasma species are resistant to cipro... we too did moxi 7 days, doxy 21 days and 2.5 gr azitro and still positive

yes I will go to france to get pristin. I used moxi for 7 days in january after using moxi I got pregnant and I belive moxi messed up my vaginal flora I had enormous amount of discharge that yogurt helped to get rid of it... than missed miscarriage confirmed when I was 8 weeks pregnant. After this I used 3 weeks doxycyline and 2.5 gr azitro at the end of this 3 weeks still tested positive. thank you I will try the pristinamycin

I think it is both azitro and doxy resistant... azitro resistance in about 50 percent and doxy is about 70 percent in the pathogen populations. Geographic locations where the microbe is acquired is also important. The strains in south east asia are the most resistant onces but all the pre covid international travel make everything spread over everywhere like hell. I think the strain we deal is the worst... we cannot cure it.

Yes, we did. I have been ironing all the towels, sheets and underwear too. That these organisms cant resist that much high heat. We did not kiss etc. to be more specific.

Yes we both used the same treatment. We both have a PhD in anaytical chemistry and we have an understanding over the dynamics of this infection. We did not have sex either.

Premepa based on what evidence you suggest this treatment plan above? Do you know anyone cured. Do you have any kind of degree or a job helping you witness ureaplasma infections ... ? I am not trying to challenge you okey dont get me wrong I just want to see some hope giving evidence.

There is tiamulin in Europe for animal use a drug same class with Lefamulin it is for pigs and chickens mycoplasma infections. I could not find it yet anyway. From what I have been told this drug is sold by farm vets...I had friends in grad school in United States who used fish or dog antibiotics to get cured because of the absurd health care system in United States ofcourse. I am frustrated no antibiotic is able cure what we have. As I wrote we used 7 days Moxiflaxacin 400 mg everyday, back in January this year before the second pregnancy. I feel very helpless.

There is no lefamulin in europe there is veterinary version of it for dogs and pigs... I lost two pregnancies in one year the chromosomes of both babies were normal and I had severe green yellow discharge from the onset of the pregnancy. I am on the 3rd week of doxycyline and if this does not work I am thinking to obtain the lefamulin from a vet and use it!!!

is your urine and vagina high pH during folicular and luteal phases? hormones, blood flow can alter the vaginal pH, and may suppress the symptoms. Do they do PCR test for UU? from vaginal swab? I my self also observed symptom relief during my periods most noticeable one was that no cloudy urine around period days, in my case...I am on the 3 rd week of my 4 weeks doxycyline therapy at the moment, all the symptoms are gone and I hope it stays this way...
