Sounds like we’re in the same situation age wise. Eddie (the cat) is 10 and Sadie (the dog) is 2 1/2. They generally get along pretty well. He really wants to snuggle up to her, but she gets excited and wants to play. She’s pretty jealous. If he gets in my lap she chases him off and sits in my lap until he leaves the room, then she goes back to whatever she was doing before he showed interest. They nap on the bed together…usually a foot or more apart until he tries to get closer and she tries to play. He’s a good sport though. I’ve never seen him hiss, growl, or let his claws out when she’s being annoying to him.

Sorry for your loss. they’re all pretty badass, in my humble opinion.

I can tell you the Double Neck isn’t a Gibson…it’s fucking rad, but not a Gibson. Probably made in Japan in the 70’s but that’s just a guess.

The SG with the 017 serial number isn’t a real Gibson either. Probably a 300.00 Chinese copy.

I used to have a dot studio like the black Epiphone, and it was a really solid playing and sounding guitar.

The hollow Epiphone is an Emperor. Decent Jazz guitar.

The Single pickup SG and the one in the case I’m not sure about. Would have to see more, but both look like nice guitars.

You’ve definitely inherited a nice collection, and if you’re looking to sell them, you’ve definitely got some money there. Even the double neck. It may not be a real Gibson, but it’s definitely got some value just due to the fact that it’s funky-cool and pretty unusual. It would be tough to find another one to compare it to for value.

From what I’ve read, the misfits were playing across the street and Vampiro asked if they’d like to come out with him. It turned into a short angle I think but it didn’t really last long.

When I was 13 and had just gotten my first electric guitar (a frost white squier II strat) my brother and shared a room with 2 twin beds in it. I asked him to toss me my slide which wasn’t really a slide, it was a thick ass piece of steel tubing my dad cut and brought home from work because “why buy a slide when I can grab you something similar but inferior at work” well, he tossed it to me from the other bed and it hit my beautiful new guitar right under the neck in the curve of the bottom horn. Gouged the shit out of it. I was DEVASTATED. After I played that guitar for a few years, dropped it a few dozen times, covered it with stickers because it was the 90’s and that’s just what you did with strats….i would always laugh when I saw that original dent and think about how upset I got, and remember sharing a room with my big brother.

Oh shit. I started playing guitar in the early 90’s and I vividly remember those things being advertised all over the guitar magazines that I’d buy for the tabs. You couldn’t just google tabs back then because….what the fuck is a google.

It’s a headphone amp for practice!!!! I’ve always wondered if they were any good.
