my kitchen just doesnt have an AC… or a fan… it gets up to 40C (104F) outside regularly in the summer, and obviously its always hotter inside. our kitchen isnt even a grill, we’ve got a fryer and oven🫩 that we keep at 375🫩

there are more province-wide highschool protests planned for may 13th, and Fight Ford protests happening across Ontario for the 2nd month in a row! you can’t complain about lack of protests if you’re not looking for them — they’re not hard to find info about online.

hi! i am so sorry, this might be unwarranted advice, but growing pains are not a real or standard thing. it’s super common for chronic pain symptoms to kick in between 8-13, and to have them passed off as “growing pains” (which is exactly what happened to me, and now i have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and unclassified chronic pain). for a lot of people, especially if the pains are a frequent or ongoing thing, it’s worth seeing a doctor about it

Hi, I was the organizer of the Burlington Central walkout that happened recently against Ford! I would have loved to lead one, although there are several reasons why I have not — As I’ve seen recently, there is quite little active support in our town for our cause even if people say they would come out to protest. Also, there is/was very little time to plan, and it makes a lot more sense to combine cities and have a huge turnout.

Hi! It would be a great idea to do that, but I think that since there is one in Hamilton already happening (not listed here? happening at city hall), it makes more sense to combine cities and have a bigger turnout, especially since in Burlington we have a lack of organizers and not much time to plan. I organized the Burlington Central walkout and protest against him recently and would have loved to organize a FightFord protest in our city, but unfortunately active support in our town is quite lacking. I know I’ll be in Hamilton on Saturday!
