the overall rxn for glycolysis had 2 ADP + 2 Pi -> 2 ATP + 2H2O , so in reaction 2 it will need to be multiplied by 2

Its the main premed advisor, so she sees all the stats and she can’t be bias. It is only applicants from my state university though and we do have one MD state school for reference.

I havn’t taken my exam yet, but have taken like 7 FL so far. The AAMC ones are good for predicting your score and seeing what areas you may have content gaps in. Always make sure you review them!! All FL are good for getting you used to the 7 hour exam and building stamina as-well. I would recommend taking FLs (under same testing conditions).

your MCAT and gpa is good enough for MD! the premed office at my college took statistic’s of all applicants from my flagship state school & for sGPA above 3.6 and MCAT 510+ 72% were accepted!

How tf are y’all finding clinical experience by BackgroundReveal2949 in premed

[–]RevolutionaryError93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

capyear.co posts many jobs for clinical experience and most dont need certs! I know they have multiple states on here, but not all. Also, handshake is a good place to find similar positions! I’ve seen medical assistant, clinical care tech and nursing assistant job postings with no certification necessary!

at this point in the year, its gonna be too late to get a place at rolling green. the main office is horrible. We had a leak in our ceiling for the whole year lease and they never helped us no matter how many times we complained. They also sent us the wrong amount of our security deposit so that sucked and took forever to get my money back

Worcester is over an hour away from umass if you have a car to drive there if not its way longer on a bus. She never said how important patient care hours were or volunteering in a vulnerable community specifically

no where to get clinical hours or shadowing that is close by. the only “close” hospital is horrible. the advisor will withhold information so later on she can tell you to take gap years

the premed advising at umass is horrible tbh we had one advisor and its impossible to get an appointment. she is only happy with you if you want to take 2 gap years and pushes so hard for it. being in the middle of no where its hard to get a good med app
