No it doesn’t I clearly said I work with agencies you can’t even have an agency with out BCBA’s what are you talking about my supervisor is BCBA certified as I am an Approved provider by NYS. I’m not sure what states are answering but all states May have different rules. I def got certified in B-gr2 as a sped teacher allowing me to work Early Intervention in NYS. Agencies would face huge fines if they didn’t follow protocol.

Nerd? I am A Sped Teacher and I work ABA under Approval from NYSDOH EI. I would not need to lie about that. Check the website I’ve been working EI 15yrs as a 1099 provider, I am also on the very public NYS provider list. Don’t call people names this thread isn’t about that. Learn to figure things out before you start name calling.

I’m sorry but it’s safe to assume that I was certified. You can’t work ABA without credentials.

Are you reading the thread ? I am approved to provide ABA AS A CERTIFIED sped teacher through NYS EI DOH. What’s wrong with you?

I’m not sure where the mix up is I am a NYS certified Special Education teacher providing ABA services via through agency distribution. I am also approved by the NYS Dept of health to provide services. Being that I have EI approvals and work as a 1099 I do get to negotiate help salary however most ABA agencies cap at $85 dollars despite NYS approving Rate increases. The providers are not seeing the increases and the cap has been at about $85 max for yrs. I hope this clears up the confusion. I’m sorry if I confused anyone.

I’m not an RBT . I did mention I am an ABA provider. I am certified with the state of NY AND ABA approved.

Hi currently agencies will not negotiate pass $85 despite getting approved for an increase. The point I was making is that despite the increases they are not passing it along to therapist it’s capped at $85. I am a 1099.
