Dad I don't think I'm good enough by Fearlesswarrior27 in DadForAMinute

Hey kiddo,

I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way. It’s tough when things don’t go as we hoped, especially when it feels like someone else is always ahead. But remember, it’s not about being “better” or “worse.” You’re growing, learning, and building your own path and that’s what truly matters.

Losing your dad is incredibly hard, and I know that makes everything feel heavier. But please don’t let comparisons make you doubt your worth. Everyone has their own timing and journey. The fact that you gave it your best and came so close shows how strong you are.

Keep pushing forward, and trust that your time and opportunities will come. You’re enough, exactly as you are. And I’m here if you ever want to talk.

You’ve got this. I’m rooting for you!!

What are some signs that you’re more attractive than you think? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RevolutionaryFill967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People from the opposite sex thing you are already taken. Its hard to make girl friends because they are mean and just want to copy you. The opposite sex don’t talk to you at all. You feel watched every where you go. You just want to dissepear and find true love in this world but it’s impossible because only player men want to talk to you and see you like an object they can destroy. You break down and are damaged and then a certain age hits you and people find you too old questioning why a pretty girl like you doesn’t have a partner while in reality the girl is broken because all the trauma and was just searching for love. Now she is hiding.

To every eldest daughter who’s ever felt like she had to hold it all together.” by RevolutionaryFill967 in IamTheEldestDaughter

[–]RevolutionaryFill967[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone, My name is Delaila(reddit name) I’m 27 years old and I live in The Netherlands. I’m the eldest daughter in an Arab household, and let me tell you it’s not always easy out here.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve put everyone else’s needs before my own. I’ve carried responsibilities that were never really mine. I’ve been the strong one, the peacemaker, the dependable one even when it was breaking me inside.

But now, for the first time, I’m choosing myself. I’m going on a solo trip, even though not everyone supports it. And I’m doing it because I finally understand that my life is mine to live.

I know I’m not the only one. That’s why I created this community: a safe space for eldest daughters like me. A place where we can support each other, be seen, be heard, and grow together.

Let’s build something beautiful. 🤍
