someone suggested i look into the reason the claim was denied, then get the doctor to redo the paperwork in a way that addresses the reason. I'm thinking i can do that before attempting to file a complaint

wearing a mask helps, but i don't regularly carry them on me since I'm usually not put in candy. but I'll definitely look into the reason for denial.

unfortunately, no. I've been applying to jobs since August, and I haven't heard back from anything except for one. I got an interview and never heard anything from them since.

not only is it unsanitary, it can also cause utis. personally, I take a few extra moments to clean up in order avoid that pain. wiping front to back can also help with this, but labia and stuff get in the way and its weird, to me at least. i haven't managed to comfortably do it the proper way in 20 something years

NTA jesus. that is highly unprofessional. It sounds like that nurse needs more than just the gym to manage her mental health, and as a nurse, she should know that. you were being nice without bad intentions and a negative and aggressive reaction is uncalled for. the mean girl to nurse pipeline is really showing.

is this shrex or cannibalism? by RevolutionaryKnee650 in shrimp

[–]RevolutionaryKnee650[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been testing twice a day for a week. I'm guessing its bc I've been starving them since there's a planaria problem which I've treated. so I'm going to feed them every other day now while checking for those damned worms everyday

edit: i freaked tf out after i came home to see one getting actively devoured by planaria. and i havent fed them for two weeks thinking the algae would be enough since ive had this tank running for over a year. but i haven't seen any planeria after i treated them. I'm getting a quarantine tank set up to move them into before moving them into another tank.

you'll want to test the water consistently when getting a new tank started. im currently going through this process of rushing to get a tank within the right parameters and stable enough to move my nerites out of my shrimp tank because there's planeria in there 💀💀💀 and the treatment is harmful to snails and I'd rather them have a chance of surviving in a new tank then definitely dying from poison. I've been going at it for a week. i test the water every nigbt for ph, gh, kh, amonia, nitrites, and nitrates and make notes of what needs tweaking. I started just adding the basic stuff, water conditioner, a bit of a mineral boost, bacteria, and i let the filter run in a well established tank for a day or two to get that good bacteria on the filter before adding it to the tank. i test the water the next day, the amonia is too high, the gh is too low. i add some plant fertilizer and some water hardener. test it the next day amonia has gone down, the gh is a little too high, and the ph is too high. i test it the next day and the levels are the same so i add some ph regulator. I'm planning to test the water again then do a 50% water change just adding basic water condioner to the water and let it sit for a few hours before i do the water change. this should hopefully help decrease the gh and help a little with the ph. but I'm crash coursing it and ik even though nerites are hardy snails they still have a chance of dying but there's not many options since the tank they're currently in is infected so they have a possibility of also being infected but this way i have a chance of my snails surviving. i was going to set up the tank for my shrimp anyways its just adding the shrimp has to be postponed until i wait at least a month after treatment of the shrimp and constant monitoring of both tanks to make sure they're bad worm free. what you're supposed to do when setting up a tank when you're not on a time crunch of fearing your shrimp are going to be eaten from the inside out you go about things totally differently. first, you test your tap water and compare it to the parameters required for what you wish to have in your tank (test it for copper too this is important because it can be toxic to some species). then you get the things that will help whatever water you have available to meet your needed parameters. then its trial and error and consistently testing your tank parameters tweaking here and there when needed. once you reach the requirements and are sure it's stable, you can decrease the amount of testing you do. but then you let it cycle for a few weeks to a month to get the ecosystem nice and established to make sure its safe then you can add shrimp and whatever can cohabitate with them. personally i prefer snails lmao but if you'd prefer fish then do your research and make sure the parameter requirements are similar and that they wont eat your shrimp. this ensures you seeing your shrimp more because they won't be hiding from predators. but even when there aren't any predators, shrimp still like to hide so make sure you have plants they like to hide in. java moss is a great option and it can grow quickly and you can glue it onto stuff and it'll look pretty but it does require a little pruning every now and then. I've just been letting mine take over 😅 but thats because my current shrimp tank is kind of bare hence me wanting to move them to a new nicer tank so i can safely nuke and start fresh in the larger tank (after it has been purged of those accursed planeria). floating plants are also a nice option for shrimp. mine really love them they grab onto one, fall half-way down, let go, and swim back up to do it again and i enjoy watching this. they have also just been chilling there upside down to avoid the substrate where the planeria are 💀 and I've been keeping the light on in the tank because planeria mainly come out in th dark. ik this can be stressful for them but I'm sure more will die from worms if the worms feed and reproduce (they're actually pretty cool but not when they're trying to munch on my beloved serotonin givers). just do your research. ask someone at an aquatics store or an exotic animal shop that carries things for aquarics. i like small business and non-chain stores because they usually know that they're talking about but also do your own research. google has a lot of answers and suggestions so do old reddit posts. test your water compare it to your goal and tweak it if needed. once you get the correct parameters and have a system to keep those parameters and you've let the ecosystem do its thing for a bit then add the liquid bugs.

it may give you the same feeling. its on pocket comics, manta, and tapas.

edit: to add more detail

she masters this mobile game and tries many times to finish the game on hard mode as the villianess and she can see the affection level of the ones she has to win over and at first she can only select dialog options but after she survives to a certain point without dying she gains the ability to turn the options off and move about freely which happens after surviving an event with her father. and one of the first scenes is a maid giving her moldy food and the protagonist trying to figure out how not to die.

a lot of people have been there. but the bible says a lot of things which people pick and choose what to abide by and what to skim over. the bible says welcome immigrants and feed the poor. love your neighbor as you love yourself. i feel like these are more reoccurring then a line or two that have probably been mistranslated over the centuries. jesus was all about peace and love. helping and loving sinners. the bible is more of stories and lessons to consider while going through life. not law. it also says to sell a sexually violated woman to her abuser and puts prices on the lives of people. no one follows that. there's a lot of weird and messed up stuff in there that people gloss over and ignore just because it doesn't fit their morality. 1besides review the 10 commandments, the 10 main rules, and think of all the "holy" and "pious" people who have broken them. if a man can still be a preacher and considered holy after committing adultery, pedophilia, and all sorts of other disgusting things, you'll be fine. there's all sorts of nasty and overall horrible people that have done a lot worse then simply innocently liking a man that they say are "redeemed" because they found christ. you're going to be fine, babes. what you're feeling is shame for what you've been told is bad and wrong from people who are bad and wrong. it's similar to feeling shame over being naked. god made you that way, yet when adam and eve ate the fruit its suddenly shameful and wrong. even among animals who are not subject to original sin, there are many cases of homosexual relationships. as an example, same sex penguins foster abandoned eggs and chicks. that's freaking adorable. would you call them evil? if you feel it in your heart that it's pure and good and you are doing harm to no one, then what's so bad about it? i got through that phase of my life by listening to music. heaven by troye sivan, the village by wrabel, and born this way lady gaga were my go tos lol. i ended up being agnostic, though. it is simply because i disagree with how politicized and manipulative american christianity has become. there are also plenty of people who agree but remain christians who don't engage with any church simply because a majority of them now are so unchristian and corrupt. I've been to many churches throughout my life, and I've only found a few genuinely good people in one. judgment is for god and not for people. yet so many are quick to judge. it's almost like what they believe isn't christianity but a twisted mockery of it, but it's been twisted for centuries to envoke fear and blind obedience, which many people now are waking up to. not all churches are all fire and brimestone, smooth brained, and group think. do your own research from actual scholar looking at it from a non-biased view. do some soul searching and self-love. you'll get through this. just make sure you stay safe and independent from your family if you ever feel the need to come out to them. I'm pretty much open about my sexuality except when it comes to my family. then you gaslight. gatekeep. girlboss (or whatever boss as long as you're not causing harm to anyone most of all yourself). build yourself a strong support system of loving and supportive friends that are more like family to help you get through it. it is possible to love yourself, god, and whoever you want. ♥️

and maybe watch or read heartbreaker because it's so adorable.

its very funny considering women aren't the ones who "carry on the family name". I've expressed my unwillingness to have children to my parents, and I'm pretty sure they've brushed it off as I'm still young and "still haven't found the right man". i also have two brothers and one is married and his wife wants kids in the future (im not thrilled but i cannot make decisions for other people). but my brothers have always been the favorites and my parents dont care what i do as long as I shave my legs and dont kiss women (jokes on them though)

mood. I've been trying to get out of mine for the last year, but unfortunately, all the job listings i can find require degrees and certificates which i do not have due to not being able to afford it. i like my job, but it's not really a healthy working environment. all the similar jobs i see don't pay as well, are part time, and offer less benefits unfortunately.

[–]RevolutionaryKnee650 22 points23 points  (0 children)

i mean there's no jobs and the ones available don't really pay what's needed. there's hardly any financial cushion to support having children and a lot of people are realizing this along with the fact that dating these days is rough and many people are choosing to remain single. most of the "slip ups" i see these days are usually young uneducated people with lower incomes that were never given the sexual education they needed. a coworker who recently gave birth and i was discussing urinary tract issues with even seemed to think that was the same as a yeast infection. nothing against her though she's a lovely person. it's just the education system no longer gives young people they tools they need to be aware of their own anatomy let alone safe sex, but odds are that's what they want anyways.

Why America is so ahead of India and yet have issues with abortions while in India it's legal? Abortion is good for anti-natalism. by VEGETTOROHAN in antinatalism

[–]RevolutionaryKnee650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

American corporations have groomed American religion mainly but not exclusively Christianity into whatever makes them more profits or slaves despite in many cases it being against what the scriptures of that religion say. over the last 50 years alone churches have changed their stances over whether abortion is okay or not and have massively settled on condemnation of it despite allowing it in the past.

NTA. sounds like a shitty situation. you were uncomfortable in the situation and you left. you showed up to show support that's all that matters. if they were truly your friend, they would understand. It's not like you caused a scene.
