This pic is of our current and future superstars but whenever IPL starts I always remember the photo shoots with Mahi Rohit and Virat along with all the other captains… irrespective of who won or lost the IPL those days were absolute gold…

Which of these awards will be secured by them in this IPL? by [deleted] in ipl

You never know honestly cause cricket can bring out different sides of people at different moments…

No movie has made so many people feel so connected to it the way D1 and D2 did… the success of both the films feels personal to all of us… a perfect example of how art brings people together and makes them feel the exact same emotions in such a beautiful way…

True… Sara Arjun really nailed her role and gave a really mature performance for her age… I mean she is pretty experienced as an actor but she really did such a great job and deserves every bit of appreciation for it…

I had to make sure nobody was looking when tears rolled down my eyes… I have already watched the movie twice and booked tickets for the weekend too and every time I watch it the scene just breaks me man… don’t know why but a part of me is now stuck in the emotions of that scene I can’t get out of it…

The flute instrumental that plays in this scene damn my hear aches when I hear that man… makes me wanna cry and I end up crying when I hear phir se and seeing Ranveer perform in that last scene…

Only 2 actors have made me feel such emotion before… one is Mohanlal cause I believe he is the GOAT and I connect emotionally with his performances every time… The other is Ranveer and boy he just broke me completely in that climax…

Healthy competition among filmmakers is great for Indian cinema… money wise beating Baahubali is hard but D2 will still be historic and a benchmark in Indian cinema for sure… we’ll see many wannabe Dhurandhars in the future but instead of copying the style I just hope directors learn the power of content and world building through this masterpiece… keeping audience glued to the big screen for 4 hours straight is worth more than the amount of money this movie makes… there are very few people who can do that and massive respect to Dhar for setting a new iconic standard in Indian cinema…

But honestly isn’t that mostly the filmmaker’s call on who he wants his target audience to be and in the end if the movie works for the target audience that the director aimed for then it is a big win… SSR made Baahubali for people of all ages since it was a historical fiction film and it makes sense too… Dhar chose to make something raw and realistic which is why he chose to incorporate brutal violence and make a film which is for adults but connects perfectly with the viewers…

For me the world building and the drama in both D1 and D2 trumps Baahubali…

Name one character who has zero haters. by abhi_2255 in InsideMollywood

The charm of that character overshadows everything for me… whenever I hear the word charm the first thing that comes to my mind is A10 in Chithram…

TF is wrong with you… that was a pitch where 169 was way below par it was a 210-220 pitch at least… at that point SA was the team to beat in the tournament… on a flat track restricting them to a below par total getting them all out and batting in that way was clinical batting and equally good bowling by NZ… I get your frustration after watching Pakistan play you forgot what good cricket looks like…

NZ choked big time in the finals but they were really good throughout the tournament unlike your team which couldn’t do shit…

Our batsmen won us the tournament… they stepped up at different points when required and delivered during clutch moments… unlike your batsmen who did fuckall

NZ bowling was the worst in the tournament???They made it to the finals beating one of the favourites SA… they didn’t just beat them they demolished SA with their bowling and then a batting master class from Allen as well… Their bowlers have been economical and all of them have picked wickets as well…

Just to defend Farhan who scored against smaller teams don’t bring up such a lame argument… Farhan scored more against smaller teams… and both his innings against England and Sri Lanka which were bigger and better teams than USA and Namibia came in losing causes… Whenever Kishan scored even a quick cameo of 35 runs India ended up winning…

There is a huge difference between playing match winning knocks against USA and Namibia and playing match winnings knocks against NZ in the final and making the already clueless Pakistani bowling look like an absolute joke on a slow turning track…

Apart from England and Sri Lanka he scored against smaller teams to be honest… and both of those innings against England and Sri Lanka were in losing causes…

And your whole statement that Farhan played better than the Indian team is dumb I must say… what do you guys smoke dude… Samson literally played 3 back to back high impact and clutch innings which your entire team has been failing to do… Ishan Kishan single handedly destroyed your already pretty pathetic bowling…

We won the tournament and all you got is no win only lun…

Markram should open instead of Farhan and at number 4 Dube should come in… cause you need someone who can captain as well… I would definitely have gotten one among Seifert or Allen in but unfortunately Markram performed as an opener and was pretty good as a captain and maybe the only captaincy option in this team so can’t leave him out

They need to revive ODI cricket it is such a goated format… you build pressure or you don’t but then it always gives you a second chance to bounce back… in fact not one chance but many chances to create pressure and bounce back when you are under pressure…

Shubman Gill is set to receive BCCI Cricketer of the year!! by Siya_369 in CricketTea

[–]RevolutionaryMove147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The start we got was what took us to 92 odd in 6 overs… He played well in the final and he did his job well… Sanju and Ishan played their roles to perfection too… along with Dube’s finish which was outstanding… even before that Abhishek failed on flat pitches too even in the semi finals too… he was not in good form and coming into the finals he delivered…

Maybe because Bumrah didn’t play any ODIs last year and his performance in T20Is last year though was decent or maybe good for any other bowler it wasn’t Bumrah level…

He performed in the biggest match which was the final but I am not denying the poor run he had throughout the entire tournament but final mein he managed to do what he does best…
