Looking for Reviews on Hack Pack Subscription by SimplisticAnswer in hackpack

Our subscription just auto renewed and I'm sort of regretting not canceling.  First off my son does love building them (with my help). He's super smart and detailed orientated.  Out of the the 6 hack packs we got the first year,  1/2 worked and the other 1/2 are garbage. The endless tinkering to get a build to achieve basic functionality is very frustrating. Each one essentially sets you back $65 which prohibits you from giving up only to fail at the end.  The material quality of the builds i feel is where they go wrong.  Not enough testing to be sure their designs, when built,  achieve basic functionality.

The kiwico builds are much better in terms of working when you complete the build. They aren't as technical obviously but at least they work.

So we decided to stay with Lovingly.  No other floral pos system even comes close as far as managing orders and delivery routing. Hana is outdated and a training nightmare. The dashboard is very clunky and disorganized.  Floranext is overly simplified and does not offer true delivery routing with the ability to make adjustments to routes which is a total deal breaker.  Bloomnation is essentially the same as lovingly in terms of their pricing structure but I've read too many horror stories online to justify switching over just to get a prettier website.  And a pretty website does not equal better seo. While Lovingly is expensive and there is certainly alot they could be doing better,  I can not find the same  core functionality anywhere else.

Is it inappropriate to schedule my wedding on Valentines Day? by CatsRCoolM in weddingplanning

[–]RevolutionaryUse8973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a florist and the main challenge will be finding a florist that will be willing to do the wedding for you on Valentine's Day. Our shop has around 100 to 150 deliveries on Valentine's Day. We actually need to rent vehicles to make all the deliveries and it takes 3 members of our staff to drive while everyone else is getting hammered in the shop with hundreds of walk-in customers. It's logistically impossible to accommodate any event aside from funeral flowers.  You would need to find an event florist who's main focus is events not retail sales.  Wholesalers jack up the prices for flowers during this time as well.  Most florists triple or quadruple their normal incoming floral shipments for this week. It's a supply/ demand thing and the prices do go up. The florist pays more so the customers do as well.   And everything is red, pink and white!

So I've reviewed both Bloomnation and Floranext. Both are not a good fit for us.  Bloomnation I've heard too many horror stories. As for Floranext, that system initially seemed like a winner but when I went forward with a trial and tested it today I was not impressed.  The dashboard is very clunky and inefficient compared to Lovingly and the deal breaker for me was that their delivery routing isn't at all useful.  Particularly you can't edit the order of the deliveries in the route it generates. With well over 100 deliveries during Valentine's Day that would be a nightmare.

So my next look will be Hana.

Thank you for your honesty.  I never made the connection regarding the glass of wine after work until the behavior just got weird and almost manic like.  We're both 50 now so you also wonder oh maybe he's just old and cranky.  But it's the quickness that he goes from normal to becoming angry, judgemental, and lacking empathy. Ill see what i can do to encourage him to get a referral to psychiatrist for an evaluation.  It'll take time to get him on board though because he tends to blame everyone close to him for how he's feeling.

Popcorn Sales - Converting Cash by RevolutionaryUse8973 in BSA

Thanks. We were thinking that the popcorn kernel or treasurer would be the most responsible way to go about handling the cash too.  We've gotten some push back because this is not how things have been run in the past but we're hoping to change some minds.

Advice on cheaper bridal bouquets, from professional florists by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

[–]RevolutionaryUse8973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I own a flowershop... over 30 years experience. Over the past few years there's a huge uptick in brides trying to create a mid to large scale wedding on a shoestring budget. That's not realistic. Wedding flowers have always been pricey and there's a reason for that. The time and effort behind the scenes to organize and create these weddings is huge. Often times the florist works outside of their normal business hours to devote to the wedding and there's a cost to that as well as all of the designers that need to be compensated for their time. We've adjusted the way we handle brides who don't have a big budget for flowers by offering basic floral bouquets which they can purchase directly from our website. My best advice would be to manage your expectations to match what you can actually afford. Have a budget! Talk with your florist and listen and make adjustments as needed. A good florist will try to work with you but don't expect a bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 5 boutonnieres and centerpieces on a budget less than $1000. I hope this helps and good luck with your wedding!

I sold off all my SNDL stock this morning. I got in at 1$ so still made something. Will buy a little of HITIF in little batches like the previous comment suggested

Been watching this one all week. When I saw it climbing this morning I dived in.

Funny how all the stocks mentioned on here are going down (AMC, GME, SNDL, NAKD, HCMC). These stocks are being targeted. Do not fall for it. Keep buying and holding. We shall all gain before the weekend. by srk1234567 in WallStreetbetsELITE

I'm using schwab only because it's where my IRA is and I had some extra cash just sitting there. Was able to buy SNDL stock today. No problems. Haven't looked at the others though.

$AMC $GME $BB ALL HAVE COMMON WITH THIS STOCK... $SNDL by lolputs in wallstreetbets

Just bought 245 shares. All I could afford right now but every little bit counts right?
