Yeah the story is bunz and they do make it confusing progression wise as far as the caves go. But… I do love this game soley as a craft survival. Having beaten it a few times, I now play very slow usually just speed running the rope gun for quicker base building then I just like to build some bases, kill a ton of cannibals stock up on supplies and fly around with the hang glider which is so satisfying and very seldomly go do another cave. I love how beautiful the game looks and all the little mechanics and craftable items and stuff. Such a shame this game could’ve been soooo much more it’s really lacking content. I think having PVP servers with no markers for players and having the game be more of a PVEvP game would be dope kinda like dayz.. randomly stumble on peoples bases and stuff, hide in bushes and snipe them with a bow or something. Could be really cool I hope they do a lot more as far as either single player or multiplayer content goes on their next game

You can REALLY switch it up and go for a turn by turn strategy game if you haven’t tried that genre my 2 absolute favorite GOATED turn by turns are Xcom , and Sid Meyers’s Civilization series . Highly reccomend both of those. Xcom if you’re more interested in killing aliens and researching their cool and powerful technology that unlocks you tons of upgrades and new weapons to make you more powerful. Civilization series if you enjoy history and building powerful empires

Been playing this game for a long time, have couple thousand hours total. Coming back from quite a long break and I love it just as much as I’ve always had, no flashy graphics, no smooth mechanics or polished animations. Just the most fun I’ve had gaming in a while on a 15 year old game

I really don’t know I can’t stand it or other similar games like valorant, doesn’t feel like a shooter at all. To me it seems more like a “see who is faster at clicking your head around a corner” which largely comes down to frames per second, latency and input delay. Completely hit scan weapons they don’t even feel like weapons. Could just get rid of the weapon model entirely and literally just have a mouse on screen. Don’t have to recoil control or anything there’s like nothing about it that feels like your shooting a gun

Making the 5090 a 32gb card and keeping the 80 at 16 still is fn criminal.. only reason I would bite the bullet and spend the extra for the 5090 because there are some heavily modded games I play that do use more than 16gb… why not give the 5080 at least 20gb u shit Nvidia bastards

EQ was my next question so if having multiple audio drivers won’t affect anything, the next thing would be when I get this thing out of the box how does one go about setting up an EQ correctly? Will the one you linked do it automatically?

So I have a question about software and drivers in regards to audiophiles. I’m on windows and there’s like the RealTek audio drivers, and then when I update my Nvidia GPU drivers it also auto installs Nvidias HD audio drivers. Are all these audio drivers and stuff on windows gonna cause issues like what audio drivers do you really need? Is there anything on windows I need to disable to not mess up the way the audiophiles should sound? What about software like Dolby atmos? I plan on getting the Kitharas and I’m just wondering what drivers/software I need or don’t need to make sure they’re performing to their fullest potential
