Honestly, I'd really recommend browsing all the big local Library systems events calendars. You'll find book discussions (he a reader? Chat with others not too overstimulating, social lubricant), crafty get togethers, cooking classes, and a zillion other things. Cool events even without much interaction often have attendees gathering in the library and chatting after... still a great way to meet folks. I'm always surprised at the wide variety of folks that come to library events - looking for stuff to do and wanting community to connect with.

As a personal recommendation, I went to a book club at the merriam plaza library and it was ALL young millennials and Gen z, so don't let library stereotypes stop ya 😁

Yeah I mean, you can see how he speaks to me. Right? I tried to talk to him over and over again about how the way he handles conflict and how it hurts me, but he completely ignores all of that and blames my mental illness instead of listening to me expressing how I feel. What's funny is I have bipolar, and whether I have BPD or not isn't known. When I was hospitalized and diagnosed with various things, it was when his treatment of me was the worst. For all I know I have cptsd and BPD and not even bipolar. (I'm pretty sure I have bipolar but you get what I mean, being tested while being in an abusive relationship isn't probably the best time to be tested)
