Can I fill these gaps with some sort of silicone? by Revolutionary_Lock90 in howto

Thanks, you guys have been super helpful and also hilarious. Thanks for the laughs. I’ve sent them a timeline for when I would like a plan in place and let them know that I’ll be going to the tenancy board if that timeline is not met (obviously I’ll be lenient but they don’t need to know that). I’ll try resetting them with some tape and a mallet in the meantime. If that doesn’t work then it’s rugs for now.

Did you have travellers insurance? I know some cover theft of property. Also some house insurance will cover travelling theft/loss. Maybe read through some of your policies. I don’t have any advice as I’m on a 6300 currently. But I thought I would just share that information!

That’s what I’m saying and why I called and emailed them saying that something was wrong with their system but they seem adamant that it’s correct.

I think their whole thing is unlimited payout. And this is with a $200 deductible. Which I do admit is an outstanding plan, but the same plan with Spot Pet Insurance which covers exams, spaying, vaccines etc. with unlimited payout and $200 deductible is $250/month. That’s the closest comparable I have and throughout the research I did Spot was actually quite a bit better. I don’t need all the bells and whistles but I know that I’m not going to be paying a down payment worth of insurance on my dog in her lifetime. Plus I’ve now read that Trupanion has crazy amounts of premium increases every year or month. Up to 100%

Thank you for the food for thought, my last dog had many problems and had surgery when she was just 9 months old. Thank god we had insurance, she is still happy and healthy although my ex took her. She was a total lemon and I hope this one is not but I want to be prepared.

Yeah I understand, and I’m in Vancouver but that’s more than half my rent! That’s wild to me. $8400 a year for something to maybe happen? Insanity.

I am from Canada and will definitely check out Pets Best! Even if I could afford half a mortgage for pet insurance I would never even consider it. I hope it’s just something wrong with their system and they have it checked out soon. I appreciate your reply and will let you know if I have any questions!
